Brown birch bark basket with an oval-shaped top and a rectangular bottom. Bark is bent and laced into place with birch twine around the rim overcast with birch root and partially beaded with crabapple bark. Geometric and linear patterns are scratched onto the exterior sides, revealing a lighter shade of bark.

Gambling Game PieceA17076

Wooden game piece stained red-brown. The stick is triangular in shape with a thicker top that tapers into a point. Carved into the top is a thunderbird in profile. The remainder of the piece has a carved scalloped edge on each side. There are two nails in the top of the stick, one just below the bird and another near the point that fasten it to a game board (A17073 a-b).

Spurred club made of dark vesi wood. Curved at top with an emerging extension branching out midway through the curve. Rough chisel marks on the inside of the curve, bounded by a chiselled line. Rectangular peak at top. Woven fibre wrapped several times around the base of the shaft.

Trade axe with a diamond pattern created from woven black and natural coloured rattan covering the extended butt end that flares at the very back. The head flares outwards and has a curved edge. The handle is tapered to a rounded point and stained reddish-brown.
