Bateba figure. Tall standing human with a thin ridge along the top of the head. The eyebrows, eyes, nose, and mouth are carved outward. The shoulders are squared with the arms hanging down to the side and the palms of the hands facing outward. There are two upside down triangle shapes pointing downward from the top of the shoulders. The belly is rounded with a protruding belly button. The stand is painted black.

Dark brown wooden humanoid mask with two vertical, cylindrical appendages attached to the cheeks. Large, semicircular handle-shaped protrusion attached at either side of the forehead arcs over a protruding rectangular knob atop the head. Two flat, rectangular "ears" protrude from the sides of the head.

Reddish-brown coloured oval-shaped tray with shallow bottom. Top edge of rim is decorated with alternating black coloured sections and a series of three dots. On rounded ends, side of tray is decorated with single dots. In the middle, the side of the tray is decorated with four square-shaped sections that are separated by black-coloured lines and are patterned with alternating cross-hatched and hatched engraved lines.

Fertility Figure771/49

Fertility figure (akuaba) with a flat, disc-shaped head. Carved from brown wood, with a simple cross-shaped design for the body. A round, raised knob with a rectilinear carved design extending below it marks the area around the figure's stomach. Neck is carved into three spherical shapes stacked one on top of the other. Face is large, round and flat with shallowly carved, reductive facial features and three small round holes bored through the wood at the outer extremities near the ears and the height of the forehead. Three parallel horizontal double lines connected vertically through the centre are carved on the reverse of the face. The entire figure is mounted on a black rectangular wooden base.
