Ivory coloured tobacco snuff container made of a snail shell. There is resin around base of shell, attaching hollow tube made of wild pig bone, and glass on the underside of the shell, allowing visibility of the shell’s interior.
This bentwood corner bowl was made by the distinctly Northwest Coast process called kerfing. A single plank of wood is first trimmed, notched , steamed and bent. The bottom and sides were then pegged or sewn together with tree root. Finally the bowl is decorated with carving, painting and adding operculum shell trims. The large bowl would have been used for dried food. The abstracted design on the sides represents a killer whale.
Colourful wooden mask with a large yellow crested headdress of plant fibre. The red and yellow tattooed face is triangular-shaped with round shell eyes placed into the hollow eye sockets, the large hollowed mouth has four curving boar-like teeth amongst the smaller ones and a tongue(?) that hangs out to touch a necklace that connects to dangling earrings. The headdress has an interior frame of rattan onto which are tied the leaves and fibres.
Long necklace made of small grey seeds with many small hanging strings interspersed throughout. Along the sides are parts of dried birds with black, blue, green and red feathers. The bottom of the necklaces has two tufts of brown and black hair. The strings are composed of small grey beads, long cream beads, halved brown seeds, large rounded brown seeds, black feathers and two different types of snail shells.

A pair (parts a-b) of earrings consisting of an end section of snail (conus?) shell. Shaped like a 'c' with a small opening (.5 cm.). Convex side is smooth while concave side has natural concentric grooves. One earring (part a) is more yellow in colour, slightly narrower, and less regular in shape while the other earring (part b) is white.
Wooden tool with shell that is bound to wood with string; the string also secures the three sticks together. Each stick is tapered to a point at both ends.
