Trapezoidal-shaped backrest (a) made of thin willow rods tied together with sinew and edged with red wool cloth. The top of the backrest has a "handle" of deer hide covered with red wool cloth that hangs down in two bands that are woven into the top of the backrest. The handle is used to suspend the backrest from a tripod of wood sticks (b). Condition: good. Some soiling on wool cloth.

Carving of a sled with dog hitch. The sled (part a) is made of many individual pieces (each cross bar and each runner is a separate piece - lashed by sinew done in the way a real sled would be lashed). On top of the sled is lemming fur for a driver to sit on. Tucked under the lemming fur is a separate harpoon (part d) and a separate hitch line and toggle (part e). The driver (part b) is carved in a separate piece and has a separate rifle (part c). Attached to the front of the sled is the hitch for the dogs complete with a toggle for the attachment of each dog.

Carving of a European ship, complete with yard arms and eagle nest. There is also a lifeboat attached by sinew to either side and anchor is visible on starboard side. Portholes and doors may be inset baleen(?).

Model harpoon (part a). Shaft is made of wood, foreshaft of walrus tusk, and ice pick of walrus tusk. Thumb rest is made of walrus tusk and attached by sinew. There are two small pieces of narwhal tusk (parts b and c) that act as rests for the harpoon.

Carving of a fox with its paw caught in a leg hold trap. The fox and trap are carved from one piece of tusk. The trap is attached to a block (carved of tusk, representing a stone or ice weight) by a sinew line and held in place with a black peg. Just above is a red circular inset on the block (which may represent a piece of meat in the trap).

Model kayak. Thin pieces of bent wood tied together with sinew make a rigid interior frame that is covered with a single piece of stretched hide, sewn together along the top of the kayak. Two harpoons (?) with wood handles attached by sinew to bone heads are held to the model in front of the cockpit, strapped in place by two thin, horizontal deck lines of hide. A carved piece of bone is positioned directly in front of the cockpit. Two holes have been bored through its base, which hold the deck lines in place.

Plain shaft (part a) with a large leaf-shaped barbed point (part b). The barbs are horizontal and there are four pair.

Arrow has long wooden shaft, tapering slightly and reddening toward nock. Fletching has come loose and is attached to shaft with string. At bottom, the point is sunk into the wood and secured with wrapped sinew. The point is copper, cylindrical in shape, with incised circles and diagonal lines along its length. The tip has 4 outward barbs surrounding the central point.

Arrow has long wooden shaft, tapering slightly and reddening toward nock. Fletching is attached to shaft with wrapped sinew at feather tops and bottoms. At the tip, the point is cast in copper, with a long, thin base culminating in a wide point with serrations below the barbs on the neck. It is sunk into the wood and secured with wrapped sinew.

Arrow with a long wooden shaft, tapering slightly and reddening toward nock. Fletching is attached to shaft with wrapped sinew at feather tops and bottoms. At the tip, the point is cast in copper, with a long, thin base culminating in a wide point with three large serrations on each side of the neck. It is sunk into the wood and secured with wrapped sinew.
