Kayak1158/1

Dark brown skin kayak over wood frame. Prow has different coloured skin. Wood framed and screwed rim over cockpit. Skin on inside of cockpit is tied to sides of wooden frame with sinew. Skin straps across the deck in front and behind cockpit are screwed on. Short angled piece of antler(?) tied with skin at one side of wooden cockpit frame.

Miniature dog sled with four sled dogs, all carved from white walrus tusk. Sled is packed with a grey-white piece of fur lashed down with black string, upon which the parka clad driver sits. The four sled dogs are harnessed with sinew, but the sinew line connecting them to the sled is broken.

Spear Thrower1366/4

Oblong spear thrower that is curved along length and has pointed ends. One end has a ball of resin around it and a leather thong wrapped three times around it forming a loop for hanging; other end has a wooden point attached with tightly wound grass; point is oriented toward the other end. An adhesive label is in the concave surface.

Square, stone base with a canopy of stone, bone and sinew. Suspended from the sinew in the canopy is a cylindrical skin bag and rectangular stone vessel. Directly underneath the vessel is a larger, elliptical, stone vessel supported by three bone legs.

Miniature KnifeNa1699

A small ulu tied to a small stone dish. The dish is black in colour and is a shallow V-shape, slopping upwards from the narrow end. The narrow part of the dish has a small knob protruding from its base and has a pierced hole where white-yellow strands of sinew extend to the ulu. The ulu is made entirely of off-white bone with a T-shaped handle, and is pierced with a hole and strung with sinew connecting it to the dish.

Quiver1082/1 a-e

The long cylindrical wood case (part a) is partially wrapped around with sinew and it has a skin handle-holder. There is a skin lid cover (part b). Inside are three long wooden arrows with metal arrow points. The stems are wrapped with sinew at both ends.

Dart Quiver1082/3 a-f

The quiver (part a) is a red-brown skin case with a light brown skin handle stitched with fibre and beaded at the top rim with white beads. The bow (part b) is a dark brown curved wood stick with fibre string linking the two ends. The darts (parts c-f) are made of light brown wood sticks which have long pointed tips and sinew(?) wrapped around at their ends.
