A pipe with a case (part b). The pipe is wooden with a bird motif (tiki), spirals, and double spirals around plain eyes, corners of the mouth, abd along the sides, and the bottom with a plain tongue protruding. A chevron pattern is along the stem up to the silver bands. The silver is engraved with flowers along the rim, and the centre of the stem. The stem is loose with the rest of the stem being of orange (resin?). The bands on the stem have the letters "ller" and three symbols: an anchor, an "s", and a lion. Underneath the symbols, there is the word "kia-ora". The end of the stem has teeth marks, mostly on the underside. The case is brown leather, made in Vienna. It has a brass frame with hinges. The inside is red valour, and has the words, 'Sterling silver mounts', and a red bird emblem with the letters 'KK' on one side.

Square bag made with cotton appliqué. The surface is decorated with an orange square border followed by four concentric squares in orange, light orange, green and white. The middle has a dark blue cotton square with multi-coloured stripes embroidered in various patterns. Central square is bright orange. Arranged symmetrically at corners of appliqué design are small semi-spherical silver ornaments, two of which have a string of white shells, a blue bead and brown seeds hanging down. Tassels of multicoloured wool, strings of white-glazed clay beads, brown seeds, shells and squares covered in multicoloured thread hang from two corners of bag face. Two ends of black looped strap form sides of bag; finished off in orange appliqué and multicoloured tassels on the bottom edge.
Red wool brocade on black cotton fabric in diamond pattern; two pieces stitched together. One side has five horizontally placed silver cup-shaped ornaments, opening sewn facing inward, each with five long three-dimensional triangles suspended on two levels by chain. Central fabric of bag folded upwards from base. Two ends of looped strap done in red brocade to form sides of bag are folded inward by doubling strap over. This causes two seams on either bag face to occur centrally, and black strap to have double thickness. Ends finished by adding band of white weft lines then unravelling black fabric and twisting two strands each to form tassels. Along top, colourful embroidered crosses occurring four on each bag face, and spaced yellow weft lines, all horizontally placed. Silver is tarnished and one cup has only two triangles suspended from it.
