The border along the hem has fan, peony, sword and endless knot motifs among others, in light and dark blue on white ground. The inside lining is red silk.

On the front and back are panels of moth, peony and leaf motifs in pink, red, blue, green, white and brown. The inside is lined with green fabric.

On the edges of the hem and pleats are gold borders containing the eight Buddhist objects. On the front and back are dragon, phoenix, bat, wave, cloud, sun and mountain motifs in gold, green and red. The inside lining is light blue damask containing the eight Buddhist objects.
