Costume made of thick woven plant fibre. A square skirt is attached to a hood, featuring raised vertical stripes painted with ochre and lime. The hood has a woven and painted swirl on each side above three short horizontal stripes. A nose protrudes from the hood with large, rectangular gaps for the eyes and mouth. Round ears sit on both sides of the hood, and two loops are attached at back. At the base of the head arms are attached that would cover the top or outside of the wearer`s arms, with cuffs that have long strands of sago leaf sprouting from them. Sago strands also hang from below the skirt. At the base of the body is a string appendage representing a phallus.
Woven bag. The front is adorned with four horizontal stripes consisting of two tightly plaited cords above and below a bar of tan fibre which is woven into ‘v’ shapes. Light grey and brown feathers, some with black tips, drape down, tied with bast string holding coix seeds in diagonal crosses, followed by threads of coix and abrus seeds and cut sections of cassowary quill. More feathers and seeds are inside the bag. The strap is a loose braid of tighter braids of fibre, with two large knots in the middle. The ends of the strap are attached to the back with a knot near the top and continue down the back approximately 20 cm, woven intermittently into the body. A piece of cloth has been attached to the front with ‘Yasiu’ written in ink.
A ruddy-brown grass skirt consisting of intermingled tight braids and open strips of sago leaf attached to a thicker braid waistband. At one end is a loop, at the other end a tie - two long braids are knotted together in the middle and again towards their ends out of which long tufts of unbraided sago leaf continue.
Grass skirt made of strips of sago leaf. The colour of the sago leaf strips varies from shades of brown to yellow. The front has two layers with a shorter section of straight strips attached to the waistband in five separate sections sitting in front of longer plaits that curl and fray at the bottom. The braided brown and yellow waistband ends in a loop on the right and single tie on the left which is knotted towards the end with a tuft of long strands.

Four long tassels of tight braids drape from the top of the belt; two with cockatoo feathers at the ends. An undulating double row of coix seeds and a several yellow, blue and green plastic beads are threaded with fine, bright green nylon twine over the top of the belt. The waistband ends are broad loops; the right end has a long, broad, loosely woven braid of tight braids of sago leaf.
Grass skirt of ruddy-brown strips of sago leaf attached to a broad waistband of dark brown and tan fibres interwoven with braids of sago leaf. The left end of the belt is a thick, neat loop; the right end has two braided ties, the top being twice the width of the lower. Three thick tassels protrude from the waistband; the centre and left have a cylinder of tightly braided sago leaf clasping the top third of the tassel which supports them protruding outwards rather than being flat.
Grass skirt consisting of loose strands of sago leaf attached to a waistband. The waistband features three rows and seventeen columns of alternating dark brown and yellow-brown woven plant fibres bordered by braids of ruddy-brown sago leaf. Three thick tassels of knotted sago leaf strips protrude from the waistband clasped with cylinder appendages of woven dark brown and yellow-brown fibres in alternating ‘V’ patterns. The waistband ends in a broad loop at one end with a knotted tie of loose sago leaf strips; and at the other, a broad, loose braid with a thick knot from which sprouts a long tuft of loose strands and braids.
Grass skirt made of long, ruddy-brown, blades of sago leaf. A shorter layer, approximately 18cm, sits atop a longer, of approximately 28cm long. The waistband ends in a loop on the right side and two ties with knotted ends on the left.
Grass skirt made of braided sago leaf. Hundreds of small, tight braids are attached to two thicker braids that form the waist band. The braids on one half of the skirt are several centimetres shorter than on the other. A slight change of colour, in vertical stripes, can be detected in the braids. A knot of darker brown fibre sits at the centre of the waistband. One end is a loop with two knots; the other is two ties with three knots and loose ends.
The object is a woven belt with a loop attachment at one end and two woven cords at the other. At either end there are woven strands with frayed ends, two at the loop end, and three at the cord end (which also has another woven strand ending in a loop-type shape). There is an overlapping zigzag design of woven material over the main part of the belt. Both use alternating light and dark brown colour.
