Skirt made up of three panels (part of a woman’s costume with 3052/9-17). Panels have multicoloured vertical lines of flowers and zigzag patterns. Parts ‘a’ and ‘b’ are identical. These smaller panels are rectangular in shape, with a narrow, covered, elasticized band at top that protrudes from each side to form ties, with a wide hem at the bottom. Part ‘c’ is a wider panel. It too has an elasticised band at top, uncovered, and wide hem at bottom, as well as wide side folds edged in green satin on the back.

Red leather boots, (part of a girl’s or woman's costume, 3052/1-7 or 3052/9-17). Boot shaft rises to mid-shin, where a decorative cuff is sewn to the collar. Boot is otherwise undecorated. Sole is of black rubber and heel is low.

Hand-made artificial limb. The thigh-height leg is made of two pieces of wood. The top piece accommodates the wearer’s own thigh, and is wider at top, narrowing toward the knee. A long strip of fabric is wound around the top for tightening. Interwoven are pieces of black rubber and a thin piece of cord. Part of the thigh piece has been hammered into place to repair a hole. Beneath is attached the leg bottom, a long, narrower piece of wood with a flat base.

Hand-made artificial limb. The knee height leg is constructed of wood, rubber and metal. The limb is made of a single piece of wood carved into a cylinder wider at top and narrowing toward the ankle. The cylinder is sliced in half from top down to ankle, allowing it to be adjusted in size. The artificial limb is attached to the wearer’s leg by an encircling piece of wire that is twisted using a short wooden rod to tighten and close the slats. A small rubber plate is attached at bottom by nails for a foot. A fabric handle is attached to the leg at top and ankle.

The cylinder is sliced in half from top down to ankle, allowing it to be adjusted in size. The slats are held in place by a wire at the ankle and a circle of metal at the top holding a piece of wire that is tightened to close the slats. A fabric handle, tan in colour with a green edge, is connected to the encircling metal. The foot is made of rubber and attached to the leg by nails and has a wooden toe-piece.

Hand-made artificial limb. Made from a single piece of wood carved into a thigh height leg, wide at the thigh and narrowing toward the ankle, with a discernible knee. The thigh is hollowed out to the knee. A short blunted foot is carved at bottom, with a pad of rubber attached to back and bottom. Leather thongs are wrapped around the ankle and upper thigh, where a piece of leather protrudes holding a system for buckling that includes two metal rings.

The thigh is hollowed out to the knee. A thick, oblong piece of rubber serves as a foot and is attached to the base of the leg with nails. There are no articulations in the limb. Part b is a large portion of the top of the thigh that has broken off.
