Black rubber shoes (parts a-b) with thick straps that cross on the top and one that comes around the back of the heel; tire soles. Straps and sole are fastened with nails and staples.
Large red trunk with rounded lid and black metal studding along the top edge and sides. On the front is painted “Made in Kumlon Chang Co., Chong Yueneong Street, Canton” in yellow. Beneath the lettering is a yellow number "3" and circle with red flowers and green leaves. Flanking the circle are green vertical stripes with yellow Chinese characters. On the left side is a yellow Canadian Pacific Express Company prepaid sticker. There are metal rings, hooks and handles on the four sides. The inside of the trunk is covered with paper, painted brown. There is a black leather strap nailed to the lid. There are three boards (part b-d) that fit across the top.
Carved wooden, crooked beak mask. The beak has large red, tear shaped nostrils outlined in back and bordered by red u-forms. Running from the brow is a large central black frill that protrudes outward and curves inward to the centre of the beak. The ridge, along with below the eye and the edge of the mouth, are lined with black u-forms outlined in white. The mouth is red, flat and protruding. The bottom parts of the beak are hinged with rectangular pieces of rubber. The eyes are black, outlined in white on a white ovoid shaped ground; brow is black. The underside of the beak is black. The inside of the mask is hollow with the exception of a piece of fibre twine that articulates the beak. Attached at the top inner tip is a small bundle of small stripes of cedar bark; intertwined are feathers. Hanging from the bottom edge are pieces of twine that hold remnants of cedar strips. The mask is painted black, white and red with Northwest Coast stylized forms.
Wooden, carved, supernatural bird mask with a long beak and s-shaped cutout nostrils. The beak is hinged with pieces of rubber on either side, nailed to the lower mouth. The beak and nostrils are painted black with red edging. The eyes are white, outlined in black on a green, ovoid shaped background; brow is black. Tied to the top of the head are two pieces of wood that form a frame that holds the mask on when worn. The inside of the mask is hollow with the exception of an attached twine cord that assistants the beak in opening and shutting. The mask is painted black, red, green and white with Northwest Coast stylized designs.
Weather mask. Small wooden headdress or mask with a long, upturned, protruding snout. Two wings attached to the top of the mask are moveable. Colours used are red, black, and white.
Pair of black rubber sandals with tire tread soles. Two crisscrossing straps over the main part of the foot and a strap around the back of the heel. Top straps are fabric covered in rubber. Nails bind the straps to the soles.
Seal mask with a rounded head and black rubberized cotton head covering attached with nails at the top, back and underside of the mask. The mask is painted black with white lines delineating the eyebrows and eye sockets, grey around the eyes, red nostrils and lips, as well as red and blue design elements beside the corners of the mouth.
A pair (parts a-b) of trouser bottoms. Each part is made of vertical fabric pieces of varying patterns and gathered with elastic at the top. The first part (part a) has darker colours consisting of dark blue, dark purple, red, and green. The second part (part b) has brighter colours consisting of blue, green, red, and yellow. Both pieces have an overall leopard pattern background.
A rubber doll wrapped in multiple layers of clothing, and cloth. The doll has clear blue-green eyes, which have lids that rotate open, and closed. The mouth is red. The yellow-brown hair is covered with black fibre. The doll is wrapped in an orange hooded wrap that is bordered with gold-coloured sequins, and is tied at the neck with a yellow ribbon. Underneath the orange hooded wrap, there is a white towel that has two mirror-imaged logos for "Harrahs", and a label. Underneath the white towel, there is a red robe hemmed with black thread, and held together with a safety pin. Underneath the red robe, there is a shimmering pink-orange lower under garment. There is red yarn tied around the neck of the doll. Three safety pins hold the orange hooded wrap together, keeping all of the layers of clothing within.
Folded bright pink hat (part a) with sequined designs. There are pieces on the sides that frame the hat and curl outwards. The design has peonies in white and yellow sequins, tendrils in gold and borders in gold and yellow sequins. There are two long pink streamers with the same sequined designs attached at the bottom. The inside is stiffened with cardboard and lined with purple fabric. Two long yellow tassels (part b-c). Each tassel has a small metal hook at the top, a body of two gold wrapped cylinders, and long loose strands.
