A flat, embroidered seat cover. It appears to be shaped to fit a large bicycle seat. It is constructed from blue cotton textile (that has faded to a blue gray colour on the front side of the object), which is profusely embroidered in chain stitch with bright orange and mustard yellow silk or rayon floss, using a meandering pattern, along with paisley motifs and designs that perhaps represent peacocks. A small hooked sun disc motif, enclosed in a circle, appears in the centre, and along the perimeter of the design field are several small discs made from yellow, green and white glass beads. Some gold metallic braid is incorporated into the design. The embroidered textile is edged with a dense fringe made from twisted dark red fibre (faded) and white glass beads, and a ruffle made from dark green synthetic knitted textile. The embroidery is backed with red cotton textile.
Embroidered textile panel for a blouse front. The embroidery is worked on gray-green cotton textile, with predominantly red and purple/mauve geometric designs and mirrorwork. The designs are outlined in black and orange. The embroidery is underlined with bright pink block printed cotton gauze. A strip of bright green embroidered cotton textile (15.8 cm wide) is sewn to the lower edge; the colours of this strip, as well as the style of embroidery, are different from those used on the upper portion of the textile.

Flat, rectangular, decorative bag, made from two different types of textile. The front of the bag is made from very finely embroidered, multi-coloured textile with patterns that resemble an ikat weaving. The back of the bag is made from a cotton warp face ikat textile with large red and yellow patterning on an off-white background. All four edges of the front of the bag are finished with narrow multi-coloured tablet-woven braids. The sides and bottom edge of the bag are trimmed with dense, long (11 cm), multi-coloured, twisted fringe (red, dark yellow, purple, off-white, brown, green and blue). The opening of the bag is trimmed with four multi-coloured tassels. The front of the bag is lined with a loosely woven, printed, tan cotton textile.
Bag, made by bringing three corners of a square piece together, leaving the fourth corner open as a flap. The front of the bag is embroidered with a large multi-coloured sun symbol in the centre surrounded by several decorative borders. There is an orange pompom and a length of green twisted cord attached at the point of the flap. The back of the bag is decorated with three red pompoms.
Woman's sash made from a length of ribbon that has been embroidered with pastel flower motifs. The circular design is repeated every 10.2 cm. The centre section is stiffened with starched cotton gauze. Ends are finished with yellow, orange, and gold sequined braid.
Open-top hood made of black silk damask with long ear flaps to which are attached long ribbons of the same fabric. The damask is patterned with peony flowers. The hood is constructed of two halves sewn together at the centre of the forehead and centre back, but with an opening at the top edged with black piping ending with a short slit at the back. The hood is cut straight across the forehead with a convex curved edge along each side edged with black piping on each side. The long ear flaps project forward from the points where the forehead joins the sides. The hood is edged entirely with two layers of skin with black fur, one facing inside and the other facing outside. A flat purple silk cord crosses the opening from front to back, ending at the back in an elaborate knot made of dark pink cord, partially detached and crumpled, below which are five dark pink tassels wrapped in gold thread. At the front there an elaborate double knot of gold and pink cord, below which are seven dark pink tassels wrapped in gold thread. The hood is lined with bright blue rayon fabric, most of which is covered with white fibrous paper which is attached with long running stitches.
