The item search helps you look through the thousands of items on the RRN and find exactly what you’re after. We’ve split the search into two parts, Results, and Search Filters. You’re in the results section right now. You can still perform “Quick searches” from the menu bar, but if you’re new to the RRN, click the Search tab above and use the exploratory search.

Two lions carved from translucent pink quartz (parts a and b); each lion is mounted on a carved wooden stand (parts c and d).
Three pink quartz transparent stones set on carved wooden scepter (part a). The rose-coloured stones are carved in form of peach branches and fruit in high relief. One stone is a large wide rectangular shape, another is a long thin rectangular shape, and the other is an oval shape. The scepter curves convexly in the middle and concavely at the ends, with the top end curving around and over. A pair of semi-circles forming a circle are inset at the centre of a carved double y-shaped design near the concave edges. There is a wood stand (part b).
The analyzed debitage was recombined during analysis; not separately bagged or labeled by material type/identification. Different material types were cataloged separately, although with duplicate numbers by AINW. Catalog entries were combined by the Burke Museum as specimens have one catalog number and are stored together in one bag. K. Meyers 04/06/2011
