The item search helps you look through the thousands of items on the RRN and find exactly what you’re after. We’ve split the search into two parts, Results, and Search Filters. You’re in the results section right now. You can still perform “Quick searches” from the menu bar, but if you’re new to the RRN, click the Search tab above and use the exploratory search.

Assorted turquoise stone beads with a single irregularly shaped stone pendant of a whitish-green colour. The pendant is drilled in both directions. There are 430 turquoise beads, including disc-shaped, barrel-shaped and irregularly shaped ones. There is some graduation in size and the smallest ones are closest to the tie in the monofilament, on which they are strung. Some beads have traces of red pigment.
Green and blue/green stone beads are interspersed with 18 barrel-shaped and one ellipsoid bead made of golden metal. The 134 stone beads are a mixture of disc-shaped, barrel-shaped and irregular shapes. They are arranged symmetrically on either side of the golden ellipsoid bead. The ellipsoid bead is made of two hemispheres of sheet metal while the other metal beads are rolled with a simple overlap join. Strung on monofilament.
Irregularly-shaped yellow shell beads alternating with 31 cylindrical, red-purple shell beads on a strand of monofilament. The yellow beads are quite porous and many have red pigment rubbed into the surface cavities. The yellow beads range in length from .7 to 2.0 and the red-purple beads range from .4 to .7cm.
Hollow golden beads of two sizes are regularly alternated with yellow, disc shaped shell beads and red-purple cylindrical shell beads and are strung on synthetic monofilament. There are 20 large and 80 small gold beads as well as 20 purple and 40 yellow shell beads. Most of the gold beads are dented and some have holes or are split at their equatorial join. Some of the shell beads have worm holes. Many of the beads have traces of red pigment in surface irregularities.
Small disc-shaped, red-purple shell beads with a brown stone pendant and six symmetrically spaced golden metal discs are strung on synthetic monofilament. The pendant is approximately bi-conical in shape with a hole drilled through the larger section. The gold discs have eccentrically placed holes and are much larger than the shell beads. The gold surface of the discs is pocked and has green and red deposits.
Variegated green and green-blue beads are symmetrically graduated by size and strung on synthetic monofilament. The largest beads, which are opposite the tie, are particularly irregular in shape. Eight thin beads of larger diameter are symmetrically interspersed among the smaller beads. Total of 321 beads.
Male figure (part a), with head (part b) and pointed rod (part c) with circular metal disk around centre: face painted yellow, yellow ears, red lips, four gold teeth exposed. Gold eyeballs with black pupils looking upwards, black eyebrows each forming long arches. Black caste mark, black beauty mark on right above corner of mouth. Top of head is flat; wears gold crown, headdress of green, red, black, gold, and yellow rises up at the back to an open-mouthed creature with gold lolling tongue: has jagged teeth. Green hair shows beneath headdress. Long brown and black batik skirt, open at the back; black long-sleeved jacket, decorated front, tattered green and pink braid attached to each sleeve. Multicoloured shoulder ornaments (epaulettes), woven Mandarin-style collar. Wide blue band around waist; black, white, blue, and gold plastic belt. Smaller pink belt underneath. Gold painted hands.
Three-dimensional female humanoid puppet: head (part c) fits into body with skirt (part a), and a control rod (part d) with a long shaft passes through the body and fits into the neck of the figure's head. The body has jointed arms, each with a long controlling rod attached. The figure's right arm is broken at the hand where the control rod attaches (part b). The figure has a flower motif on each breast underneath a black fabric bib decorated with gold-coloured beads and coloured sequins. The bib has a shiny bright green mandarin-style collar decorated with braid and silver sequins. Forward-bending white face and neck, small straight nose, slit-shaped eyes, red lower lip, red caste mark, beaumark on right above corner of mouth, ears. Top of head is flat, straight black hair. Gold body and arms; crown of gold, green and red. Multicoloured band around waist, attached to body with blue tack on front, red and blue tacks on back. Long batik skirt, in beige, light brown and grey-blue.
93 globular, golden beads in three sizes strung on synthetic monofilament. The 9 large beads and 2 small beads are shinier than the 82 medium sized beads which are more tarnished. Some of the medium sized beads have traces of red pigment. The beads are constructed of two half spheres of metal that are forced together around the equator of the bead. These beads are precisely cut and joined at the seam.
136 globular and convexly biconical golden beads of the same approximate size strung on white cord. They are constructed of two half spheres of metal that are forced together around the equator of the bead. Many of the beads have a dark tarnish overlaying the golden surface. A few have green surface deposits. Some have traces of red pigment on the surface. A number have breaks, particularly along the seam. Four beads are entirely split along the seam.
