Long wooden knife that tapers to a sharp pointed end. A rice plant and a duck in flight are designs that have been carved on the shaft of the knife. A long silk tassel and netsuke are attached at the end. The tassel attaches to the knife through a hole at the end and wraps around the handle of the knife along with a piece of olive green silk fabric.

Round paper hand fan with a bamboo handle. One side of the fan features an octopus in a light orange colour, with a polka dot scarf tied around its head. Eyes are plastic and have moveable black centres. Back is stamped with makers name.

Plain black chopsticks that are tapered and pointed at one end and are squared at the other end.

Toy consisting of a red and gold plastic fish decoration attached via lengths of black cylindrical and red tubular beads to a bright orange plastic banner with sarrated edges that has a Japanese character written in black that reads "good." There is also a strip of red plastic with two black beads at the base attached to the dorsal fin of the fish.

Brown metal lantern consisting of a four-legged base (part c), elliptically shaped shade (part a), and a rounded top (part b). Shade is a bamboo panel design lined with ecru-coloured rice paper. Top is round with a gentle downward slope towards the edges and a knob handle in the centre. Four-legged base has a light socket and electric cord attached.

Red folded hat with embroidery and ties. The front has an appliqued lotus motif, an orange plastic rectangle and a linear border in green and brown around three sides. The back has three vertical stripes of the linear border in green and brown and tiny mirrors. The sides have pieces of different fabric. The inside lining is white cotton.
