The mat is made from long strips of leaf, arranged in a double layer and sewn along all four edges.
Long straight barbless hardwood point lashed to softwood shaft. (broken off). Painted in sections of red, white, and black from bottom to top and appears to have had some coiling around the middle white area. The base of the shaft is wrapped with fibre. The long dark red-brown point is plain.
Plain tapering shaft with a very elongated hourglass-shaped end. Appears to have been painted black. The extremely long dark point is plain. The hourglass-shaped end is brown. Fibre is wrapped around the base of the point just above the hourglass-shaped end.
Eight barbed prongs set into shaft which is painted in white and red sections. The wood fore-shaft is set into the reed shaft. Base of the reed shaft is wrapped with stem ? or fibre. Wood fore-shaft is painted white at either end. Base of the wood fore-shaft is also wrapped with stem ? or fibre. Remnants of prongs are at the end.
Three prongs are firmly set into a brown wood shaft. Each prong has a barb. The shaft is painted in sections of white, black, and red from bottom to top.

The head is a black stone disc between woven bands of plant fibre (?) or bark (?), and black, brown, dark red, and green feathers. The handle is plain and tapered.
Spear thrower with carved finial that is decorated with small white triangles. Loop of braided cord knotted around centre of shaft.
