Mask representing a monkey painted red overall with yellow, white, and black eyebrows, protruding eyes with a crescent-shaped slit under each, a flat low relief nose, twelve upper white teeth, no lower jaw. Remnants of plant fibre attached to nails in tufts along the forehead and upper jaw.
Mask depicting the demon Gara Yaka with protruding eyes, a crooked nose with flared nostrils, wide red lips borderd in black, white teeth, curving cobras emerging from the corners of the mouth, disc-shaped concave ears, scrolling protruding elements above each ear, and a headdress formed by five cobras. The mask is painted in glossy pink, red, white and black. Strips of red fabric are threaded through the eye slits and the centre of each roundel to secure them to the mask. Twine attached at back. A label written in blue ink on the reverse reads, "Gara Yaka."
Mask depicting Bita Sanniya (?): a humanoid face with bulging red-rimmed eyes, a short nose with a curved bridge, grimacing red lips with crooked white teeth, two red curved lines on either side of the mouth, brown plant fibre tufts on the brow as well as the upper lip, and strands of black hair on the chin. There is a strip of white fabric strung through two holes in the sides of the mask. A label on the reverse reads, "Bita Sanni" handwritten in blue pen.
Dance headdress. Multiple light brown, twisted strands of plant fibre (from an aromatic bulb rubbed with red ochre). The round fringe hangs from a circle of sinew. One section of the strands are shorter and decorated with coloured beads of yellow, red, pink, and light blue.
Rattan carrier consists of four joined pieces, and a pair of braided straps. Main back piece is flat ; bent frame in the shape of an inverted u; narrow vertical slats run almost the entire length of the frame. Small lengths of frame are left at the bottom of both sides, these may serve as legs. Slats are lashed to four cross-supports which are attached to the frame with braided rings. Sides are oval panels ; bottom is semi-circular panel; each has own bent frame. The panels are moveable, can fold flat against main piece. Straps are attached at top of main piece and ends loop around 'legs'.
Mask depicting Kola Sanniya (representing pneumonia) with a humanoid face that has been painted green with red lips, off-white teeth and fangs, an articulated jaw, protruding conical eyes with rounded tips, a bulbous nose with flared nostrils, scrolling yellow protrusions that emerge from above the eyes, and an off-white, grey, black, and red cobra emerging from between the eyes. There is a crescent-shaped slit under each eye. A long hair moustache is inserted into holes above the upper lip, and a black plant fibre beard attached to strip of rubber nailed to lower jaw, which is hinged with thread. A twined plant fibre cord runs across the back and is tied through holes on either side of the mask. The reverse has paper label with typed text that reads, "Kola Sanni, the leader of the '18' " and "33," handwritten.
Mask of human face with painted dark brown hair that is parted at the centre, thin arched brown eyebrows, narrow brown eyes with a crescent-shaped opening beneath each, a straight and pointed nose with large nostrils, and red lips. Ears are attached at either side, and piece of plant fibre twine is strung through holes at either side of the mask.
Skirt made from several layers of red, black and natural coloured grass and plant fibre fringes hung from a woven and sewn waistband. There is a row of leaf segments at the waist.
Mask likely depicting Slesma Sanniya (which represents epileptic fits, or phlegmatic diseases). The face is painted black with an undercoat of green and has thick arched brows with red diamond-shaped lozenge between them at the top of the head. The mask also has a wide, short nose with flaring nostrils, bulging round eyes with red rims as well as crescent-shaped holes under each, a grinning mouth with wide red lips, four square upper teeth and no lower ones. There are holes on either side at temples, with red twine running through one and woven hemp ? through the other. Reverse has a typewritten label that reads, "SLESMA SANNI: epliepsy," below which is written "29."
Five carved dark brown wood prongs with multiple overlapping, triangular carved barbs lashed to the brown wood shaft. Each prong is triangular in cross section. From the upper portion to the lower portion, the prongs are lashed with the following: two sets of string coiled around four times and connected to one another; braided stem?; coiled stem?; and a larger section of coiled stem?
