Tapered, cylindrical, brown wood shaft that has four rows of teeth with opposing sides of equal length. Shark teeth are secured by twisted fibre string. The longer sides have forty-two teeth while the shorter sides have sixteen teeth. Bands of multiple black hair interwoven with woven palm leaf decorate both ends of the toothed portion. Three equally spaced bands of black hair are along within these interwoven bands at both ends.

Circular, flat bottomed woven basket (part a) with a flared top lip and a flat lid (part b)--lid has a central knob. Basket sides bulge towards the centre, creating a short, rounded shape. Ringing the centre of the basket and the lid is repeated diamond pattern woven with green, red, purple and yellow palm leaf. Basket and lid are sewn with diagonal lines of white thread.
