Man's yellow-white hat with three black, circular and patterned bands and a black edged brim. Around the top of the hat are black and pink ribbons as well as a pink and blue twisted string. The ribbons and string are stitched on with red, pink and blue thread and the ends of the black ribbon are stitched in red thread. Both ribbons and string have both of their ends trailing from the back of the hat.

Multiple pages of script etched into palm leaves between black and red painted wooden covers. Edges of the pages are gold. Yellow and blue string connects some of the pages through holes. Pages of script written on palm leaf. The pages are joined by a string that goes through a hole in the middle of the pages and then wraps around the book with a small circular wood knob. Two smaller notes are also wrapped with the book. The book is part a; parts b-c are loose pieces of leaf with script.

Hat2516/20

Broad rimmed conical hat composed mainly of round rattan strips sewn onto palm leaf. The top section of about 5 cm is covered in coils of string and includes a thin tassle at the point, which is 6.7 cm long. Below this is a 5 cm band of red rattan (sewn on) bordered by green triangles, then a 10.5 cm band of natural leaf and rattan, then a 5 cm band of red and green like above is repeated. The rim itself is covered with a sewn on (over-cast) design of thin string. There are eight bands of design radiating from the top point down to the brim in alternating colours.
