The skirt is open at the back and is lined with white nylon mesh. The panels are pleated and inserted into a band of blue nylon fabric lined with white cotton gauze. The upper edge of the band is straight but the white lining shows above it in slight scallops. Attached to the points of the scallops are two shoulder straps of white cotton gauze. At both ends of the band are sewn narrow ties of white cotton gauze.

Red skirt. The skirt is made of three panels of shiny red damask woven with roundels enclosing a bat motif and stylized character. The skirt is open at the back and lined with red nylon mesh. The panels are pleated and inserted into a band of red shiny fabric with a floral pattern and lined with white nylon mesh. The pleats carry through to the edge of the band on the right side, but not the left. The upper edge of the band is straight with two shoulder straps of orange nylon fabric. At both ends of the band are narrow ties of dark red nylon fabric, roughly machine stitched with white thread.

Stiff hat with round brim and straight-sided crown narrowing to a flat top. Hat is solid blue nylon fabric inside and red wool slightly ribbed fabric outside. It has bands of rainbow striped fabric around the edge or brim, base of crown, top of crown, and up each side. The bands are outlined with woven undulating gold ribbon. Metallic sequins in floral and leaf shapes in green, silver, and gold are adhered to the surface. Long string attached underneath on both sides, on which are strung red, green, and white plastic beads. Small red cardboard cylinder on one side of base of crown.

The front has a large left side pocket, and rough unhemmed bottom edges. The right side folds over the left and is secured to the collar and the base of the shoulder with a series of ties. Decorative swirl designs are sewn into the overlapping fold and on the back with white thread.
