The item search helps you look through the thousands of items on the RRN and find exactly what you’re after. We’ve split the search into two parts, Results, and Search Filters. You’re in the results section right now. You can still perform “Quick searches” from the menu bar, but if you’re new to the RRN, click the Search tab above and use the exploratory search.

Marble figure of a lion atop a square base. Animal is in a seated position, with front legs braced widely in front of a wide chest. Head is turned slightly to the left, mouth open and showing teeth. Carved lines create eyes, nose, a wrinkled brown, beard and curled mane, as well as musculature on body.
Museum Purchase: Indian Collection Subscription Fund, Rasmussen Collection of Northwest Coast Indian Art.
Animal effigy, possibly an alpaca with triangular ears and short tail. Grey stone with black veining, well-polished. Breakage not repaired.
Gift of John Gray.
Marble sculpture of a woman's head. The hair of the figure is parted at the top, and it forms into thick twisted strands at the sides of her face. The figure's nose, lips and chin are quite worn. The figure possesses a high forehead and relatively shallow-set eyes. There is a rough, broken surface at the neck, indicating that the head may have been attached to a larger statue. Areas of the sculpture show discolouration.
