Embroidered square textile. The central design is a large red embroidered X-shape composed of rhombus flowers on a light grey-beige background. Small embroidery framed circular mirrors are included around the designs as well as within the central square. The edge is bordered with repeating rhombus shapes in alternating directions creating a zigzag pattern, with small triangles filling the space. This zigzag band is separated from the central design by a band of yellow threads, bordered by black on each side, that are stitched in alternating in orange and green thread. The edge has a thin band of black. Reverse is backed with red fabric.

Quilted and embroidered square textile. Central design is a square, outlined with smaller squares that have embroidery-framed circular mirrors. The inner square has an overall light blue-green, burgundy and yellow-green on light brown colour scheme with more small circular mirrors embroidered within light blue-green flowers. This central square is framed by a wide border of various sized sections of red fabric embroidered with floral designs in black, green and yellow on one side, and pink, deep purple, green and yellow on the other side. Each section is edged with black threads. Finished with black edging, and a small black loop in one corner. Reverse is backed with maroon fabric over a layer of red fabric.

Standing female doll (part a) wearing a red and white floral patterned dress. The dress is secured with a single snap fastener at the back of the neck. She wears long white pants under the dress with ornate floral ribbon around the hems. She wears a thin white veil (part b) with a head covering (part c) overtop which covers most of her torso at the front and extends to her ankles at the back. The head covering is blue with blue decorative embroidery on the front panel. Her black embroidery floss hair is braided and secured with an orange hair tie with a single pin holding it in place. She wears leather sandals (parts d-e) with silver metallic straps. Her eyes, eyebrows, mouth and nails are painted on and her nose and ears are sewn.

Embroidered square textile. Central design is nine small embroidered squares with geometric designs, yellow lines, and equal-armed crosses at centre on a dark grey-blue fabric. The squares are separated by embroidery-framed circular mirrors. Three edges of the textile are embroidered with a band of geometric designs in orange, bordered by bright yellow, with red geometric designs spaced by circular mirrors framed by embroidery expanding from the inner yellow line towards centre. There are small slits about halfway down each side. The fourth unfinished edge has four embroidered cross-shapes in red and yellow thread with three embroidery-framed mirrors spaced between them. Reverse is not backed.

Long rectangular embroidered hanging or banner. This horizontal textile has eleven panels containing birds (including a peacock), flowers, elephants and a seated Ganesh figure, all with embroidery-framed circular mirrors included in the designs. The panels are bordered by a band of checkered pattern in sections of red, green, white, blue and beige. Along the top of the banner, above the border, is a horizontal panel of repeating triangles (mountains?) with a bird's foot shape in the space between each triangle. Both sides of the banner taper in to points. Edged with red fabric and ten looped tabs along the sides and top edge. The reverse is not backed except small pieces of fabric at each tapered end as well as a section left of centre.

Rectangular fabric face covering, with coins and beadwork across surface (part a). Covering has a plain red centre and is bordered by alternating white cotton braids and silver beads; triangular charms stitched along top edge of red centre. Two eye holes cut out above rectangle; fabric ridge sewn down middle of covering, imitating a nose. Ridge has coins attached along the top edge, and plastic beads and buttons along the sides. Two thin, pink embroidered bands attached to sides of covering, with strands of metal beads hanging from the bottom edges; red and green tassels throughout beads. Embroidered bands have columns of orange, green, and yellow diamonds along them. Additional coin and bead decorations along bottom edge of face covering. Back is lined with floral fabric and has a leather tie on the left side (lower half- part b); two fabric loops in each corner along top edge.

Large, heavy silver hook earring. Suspended from circular pendant are a series of layered chains, ending in gold-coloured circles. Large hollow circle hangs directly underneath pendant; top part made up of openwork, bottom is closed and undecorated. Additional layered chains suspended from hollow circle; semi-circle and teardrop-shaped charms hang around circumference of circle. Main pendant and all charms have raised flower-like motifs across them. Red glass(?) beads decorate centres of circular pendant, and teardrop and semi-circle charms on front of earring; beads on pendant and semi-circle have moon and star designs incised on them.

Triangular prism-like silver perfume bottle; stopper is missing. Long cylindrical neck extends from top, with a protruding lip; two curved handles, with looped ends, extend from either side of bottle. Bottle has a triangular top, flat back, and its front two sides curve outward at centre; bottom of bottle rounds to a point. Front two sides have curvilinear and vine-like motifs incised across surface; background covered with dots. Two raised circles in middle of designs, filled with a red mineral(?). Back of perfume bottle has three connected concentric circles, and a large floral motif incised in the middle. All sides of bottle have plain borders around edges. Large ring attached to left handle; additional loop clasp on left shoulder of perfume bottle.

Very heavy, cast bronze drum. The round drum head has a 14-pointed star at the centre, with many bands of dots, swirls and linear designs, and three larger bands with various birds, animals and humans. The sides are also decorated with many bands of designs except for the lower base, which is plain. There are four large handles attached to the sides. The inside is hollow. The metal appears to have a bronze coloured paint applied over the entire outer surface.

Vejigante carnival mask of painted paper mache construction. Mask is mainly painted a light grey-blue, with purple and white dots, and purple dashes on the horns. The white face with cut-out holes at the eyes and mouth. There are floral-like designs in gold and purple that spiral out from around the eyes. The eye sockets and nostrils are painted purple, with large false lashes glued to the upper edge of the eye sockets. Three long curved horns project out from the top and sides. The top, centre horn extends up, and curves forward, and has a small gold cross in front of green fern-like leaves. The right horn curls forward, in front of the face, and the left horn curls up and over the head. The top of the head is lined with four large red flowers with yellow stamens, and two orange and black butterfly. On both sides, a small painted white metal key hangs from the horns. The snout has a large open mouth with black stitching along the lips, and three pointed white teeth with red gums. Black, grey and red ribbons are tied to each side of the mask and hang down. The interior is painted red. Signed and dated inside.
