Handmade beige leather purse with lizard scale pattern on front and back. Purse is rectangular, has an adjustable shoulder strap, and a rounded flap with a front loop closure. Sides and bottom have lines and X’s embossed along them. Edges of purse are stitched together with plain leather. Interior has a small zippered pocket, along the back.
Carved wood drum, cylindrical in shape narrowing in the centre. On the side is a handle with rectangular projections on either side that are incised with a stylized fish design; white pigment in the cuts. There are two vertical ribs on either side of the handle that have holes drilled through. A piece of skin is attached to the top with cotton binding.
Carved rounded oval wooden sound chamber covered with snakeskin and secured by twisted goatskin strings. Triangular wood frame of two sticks flaring outward from the sound chamber with another stick across to connect them and across which, there are four strings are wound around.
Erhu-like two-stringed wooden instrument (a) with a bamboo sound box (b) covered with lizard skin and two drop-shaped tuning pegs (c-d) (strings are missing). Wooden bow (e) is strung with coarse hair.
Hand drum sealed inside a plastic bag; bag is secured shut with a paper manufacturer's label stapled over the opening. Drum is hour-glass shaped; bottom is open and top is covered with lizard skin, secured with plant fibre tie and resin(?). Rectangular handle protrudes from centre of drum; wide arch extends from other side, for resting drum against leg. Drum is undecorated. Light blue card inserted into bag, behind drum, with image of person playing drum and one of the drum itself; paragraph of text describes maker, materials, and construction techniques.
