Head. Yellowish white limestone. Male with idealized features, large eyes, long thin nose, small mouth. Face is carved in flat planes. On head, three stylized braids above which is a laurel wreath. Back is flat and back of head is slightly worked to indicate hair. Broken from a larger figure.

Hollow, elongated bulb-shaped gourd container containing crushed lime (for betel nut chewing) and wooden spatula. Spatula has spool pattern near the end and arrow tip pattern on the other end, and it fits inside the gourd. Spatula not with gourd container.

Carving of soft, granular medium grey stone, shaped like half marquise in longitudinal cross section. Back and underside roughly finished; front side smooth, with ledge at bottom, curved forward at top. Standing on ledge is human figure in long robes with flowing sleeves, hands folded over abdomen, holding a peach or closed lotus flower. On left of figure is a vertical inscription of nine Chinese characters; on right are five characters. Some lichen and dirt on carving.

Carving of a snow house on a flat base (part a) with a removable roof (part b). House is dome-shaped and has a square-like tunnel built around semi-circular entrance. Squares incised around exterior of house, imitating blocks; interior is smooth. Male (part c) and female figures sit on a fur-covered sleeping platform, along back interior wall of house; stone lamp with drying rack suspended overtop along left wall. Large dog figure (part d) lies on floor, in front of woman. Multiple tools line exterior of house entrance, fitting into holes drilled into the base; consist of: snow shovel(?) (part e), snow knife (part f), spear (part g), line(?) (part h), and fish spear (part i). Figures and roof have pegs extending from their bases, which hold components in place. Artist signature carved along top of base, next to house.

Scraper, Stone45KT20/69

Scraper labled in fine black ink "45-KI-8 69." The stone is white, pink and dark brown with an orange stripe across one edge of it. Find #69 on the Field Catalog Form indicates the provenience as: Unit 5N2, Level 1, Comments: "crude scraper."
