An oblong, shallow spoon with patterns carved along the handle and around the edge of the bowl.
An oblong bowl with two carved pigs for handles (one on each end). The upper lip of the bowl has a pattern of "U" shaped gouges running along it, some of which are filled with lime. On the outer walls of the bowl, there are small carvings of angular lines in the middle of each side. One of the pigs is upside down. The upside-down pig is slightly larger than the other, and both have carved “U” shaped patterns on their surface.
Small lime spatula with a carved handle. The handle is rectangular in shape with a slight taper in the middle, topped with a carved bird. A raised T-shaped area, with U-shaped markings, runs down the centre, ending at a small carved circle. The rest of the handle is carved with swirl designs. The carving continues down into the spatula end in a zigzag pattern. All of the carved areas are filled with white lime. The spatula end is an elongated tear-drop shape.
Lime spatula with intricate carvings along much of its length. Spatula has rounded edges, wide at the top, tapering slightly toward the tip. Two mirror image “C” shapes are bored through the wood at the top. Carved-out lines are filled with white lime.
Lime spatula carved of wood. Much of the surface is carved. The end of the handle is a-symmetrical, with organic shapes and motifs carved into it. Beneath this, the spatula is narrow and gradually tapers outwards, ending in a rounded point.
A staff carved out of dark wood with intricate patterning carved on its topper, as well as a section that takes up one quarter of the shaft. Some of the carved lines are filled with lime.
Wood mask. Wide incised strips have been carved diagonally over the face and in half circle patterns across the forehead. These have been filled with white lime, creating a striped pattern. From a squared chin, the face flares slightly toward the wide, rounded forehead. Down the centre of forehead is a line that meets the nose, and off of which are carved the eyebrows. Nose widens toward bottom. Eyes are thin slits cut through the wood, with large rounded eyelids above. Mouth is a protruding cube, with lime colouring the centre. Around the edge of the mask are bored five small holes, similar in size, evenly spaced. The back of mask is concave and undecorated.
Wooden mask. The carved face has large eyes partially closed below thin brows, a thin nose with a sharp bridge and wider nostrils, and protruding closed lips. Small ears protrude from the high on the sides. Three lines are embossed on the forehead and emphasized with white pigment. A band of painted red sits at the top of the forehead, as well as along the lower eyelids. The head is decorated with stripes of carved diagonal lines. On top sit two figures, arms crossed, one leg bent underneath and the other laying outstretched on the head of the mask. Definded buttocks at back.
Ritual funerary stick. A long, thick bundle of plant fibre, triangular in cross section, is densely wrapped in twisted fibres that are pigmented in alternating colour bands of rust-brown, white and yellow. The pointed end is crowned in a tuft of white feathers, while small orange, grey, and white and grey striped feathers and feather down are loosely attached along the length of the stick. The butt end of the stick is wrapped in loose fibres.
Body adornment (karawut) woven of bark and fibre. The object is coloured with ochre, charcoal and lime, and takes a basic human shape with head at top, protruding nose running down the length of the face, large open eyes, and open mouth below nose. At bottom are two thin legs with dangling cowrie shells as feet. The chest is thickly padded. Lines of cowrie shells are sewn onto the torso and upper legs, and boar tusks, two per side, are attached along the midpoint edges. At back, a short loop of fibre is attached at mid-upper shoulder.
