This object is a thickly matted piece of basketry approximately 28x42cm. I didn't see a handle as described in the basketry card, however, there is a fragile unattached woven piece as part of the object. Two clay lumps (assoc., see below) are bagged with the object, along with a bag of debris. Two tags are bagged for archives. Rehoused 11/24/2004, Brooke Avery. I rehoused this object, and removed the chicken wire it was laying on. I removed a small original tag from object and bagged it for archives.
