Circular basket with flared opening. Walls gently slope into a rounded base. Walls decorated with a spiral design, consisting of four wide, curved lines. Tips of lines meet in centre of base. Circular basketry plate with small flat base. Lip is slightly angled, sloping gently into centre. Entire plate is decorated with a spiral design. The middle of the spiral is a large circle on the base. Pattern is visible on interior and exterior. Basket is a light orange-brown, design done in dark brown.

Circular basket with flared opening. Walls slope into a convex base. Walls decorated with loosely woven stripes, alternating between brown-grey and light brown-yellow. The brown-grey stripes are wider than the light brown-yellow. Rim is dyed dark brown-red, base is covered in loosely woven brown-grey palm leaf. Patterns are visible on interior and exterior.

Ten-petal flower design in centre bottom, with an inner border. The petals extend upward to the rim. Patterns are visible on interior and exterior. String covering basket is brown, design done in white. Brown string looped through top edge, for hanging purposes.

Basket3512/5 a-b

Vase-like basket (part a) with lid (part b). Basket has a circular opening that gently flares into a rounded body. Flower with eight petals and a large circle in centre decorates flat base. Extending outward from the flower is a diamond grid that covers the entire basket. Rows of grid closest to base have smaller diamonds inside, top rows are undecorated. Lid has an extended lip and interior ridge, that fits into the container body. Button knob on top centre of lid. Triangles extended outward from knob to lid edge. Every other triangle decorated with an inner triangle. Right side of rim is dyed, left is undecorated. Patterns on both components are visible on interior and exterior. Both components are golden brown, designs done in brown-red and light orange.

Row of triangles above tips of petals. Plain lines border edges of triangles and petals. Patterns are visible on interior and exterior. Designs are naturally coloured golden brown, rest of basket is dyed dark brown. Plastic tie attached to exterior, for hanging purposes.

Female doll, in a standing position, made of cloth (part a). Doll has a separate cedar bark head ring (part b), lined with red cloth, with two strips of fuzzy white trim along the top left and right edges, imitating fur. Facial features are embroidered with black thread. Two red diagonal lines decorate each cheek. Woman has long braided black hair, secured with blue ties, and white beaded earrings. She is wearing a black button blanket, with a wide red border along the top, left and right edges. Central design is of a sun(?), done in red. White buttons outline the border and the sun(?). Underneath, she is wearing a purple plaid-patterned dress and a dark blue dance apron. Apron has a central design of three feather-shaped sequins, connected by a green and white beaded arch. Two rows of green and white beads, in a zigzag pattern, beneath central design. Hanging from the points of the zigzags are large white beads. Black lines embroidered along edges of hands, imitating fingers. She is wearing dark brown shoes.

Female doll, in standing position on wooden base, made of corn husks. Face is featureless. She has long, braided black hair secured with red ties. Braided leather band knotted around head, with a feather tucked in the back. She is wearing a layered floral dress with black pants underneath. Edges of layers and bottoms of pants are decorated with multi-coloured beads. Beads stitched on in a zigzag pattern. Dress is belted at waist with a long leather tie. She is holding a large pestle in both hands, inserted into a cylindrical, bark covered mortar. Artist name written on base.
