Long strips of bamboo are cut from a bamboo tube and raised by small blocks of wood. An I-shaped slit is cut into the bamboo. There is a decorative tail piece. Red tassels decorate one end of the instrument.

Conical basket that has a linear geometric design in black on natural colour, creating an eight petal-like flower design. The foot is of poorer quality than the rest of the basket and of different material, presumably it is not original to the basket.

Upward flaring, circular basket that has a lozenge design in natural colour and black. The foot shows much poorer quality in comparison with rest of the basket and is noticeably lighter in colour so presumably is not original to the basket.

A tiny coiled circular basket. Design consists of six equally spaced diagonal lines in two shades of darker brown on a natural colour background. Tiny dark brown checkered pattern on the natural coloured background around the rim.

Rectangular mat made of strips of bamboo grass interwoven with dark brown, fibrous strips of bark.
