Imari Bowl529/11

Bowl with rounded sides, scalloped edge, and raised foot ring; sides are scalloped with concavities on interior. Each scallop is decorated with a distinct pattern that is the same on both interior and exterior; the patterns appear between three and nine times on bowl. Three blue-outlined red areas with central floral decorations interrupt patterns on both interior and exterior; centre of interior has a scroll decoration on white ground.

Bowl1455/11

Bowl with slightly incurved sides and raised foot ring. Exterior is decorated cream on grey with three bands of recessed decoration, one of circle and hook designs, one of flower designs, and one of bird designs; each band is separated by two thin, white, horizontal lines. Interior is undecorated and has highly crackled cream glaze.

Bowl1273/2

Bowl with round foot ring and zigzag sides and rim. Interior is decorated with a landscape of houses, trees, water, and hills on a light green ground; top of sides is a darker green. Exterior is decorated with alternating similar designs of mountains and trees at the point where darker and light green glazes meet. Mark in dark blue at centre of base.

Plate529/14 a-h

Set of eight cream glazed plates. Part a has a decorations of three tiered house surrounded by trees. Part b has a detail of a railing with water in the background. Part c has three leaves, one in the air and two in water. Part d has blossoms, and a railing? Part e has a long leaved branch with other shorter branches, and a building? Part f has a two tiered house with trees below it and a moon in the upper left corner. Part g has a building with foliage at its base. Part h has two buildings that appear to be covered with fog; faint building tops are below and to the left of the two main buildings.

Cup with steep, flared sides and raised foot ring; flat lid with central knob and lip on underside to hold it in place. Exterior is decorated with three flowers on a red ground; interior is undecorated white. Lid is decorated on the top with a single flower on red ground. Underside is undecorated white. Makers mark is on the bottom in fucshia - "Noritake."

Cricket Container1042/8 a-b

Basket shaped container with loop handle connected to two opposite sides. Sides have very thin, rectangular holes in two bands around body; in between these bands is a thin band of floral decoration; other decorations of butterflies, crickets and geometric shapes. Part b is a lid with another band of rectangular holes with berries and leaves in high relief as a knob.
