Brown birch bark basket with an oval-shaped top and a square bottom. Birch bark is bent and laced into place. A twig splint around the rim is closely overcast for reinforcement, with several bands of crabapple (?) bark beaded in. Geometrical design is scratched on: two rows of scallops bordering chevron strip. Darker part of bark is to the outside. The overcasting is mainly thin strips of natural coloured root (?) with strips of black dyed root (five stitches wide) - two on ends and two on sides. Only the side portions of the natural root overcasting is beaded in a 1:1 ratio.

Large flared, rectangular coiled basket (bifurcated stitches) with elongated watch-spring base construction. Upper half is imbricated in cat-tail grass (?) with designs including elongated bow-tie like shape, with diamond in center, outlined in black cherry bark and cat-tail grass (?). Corners have "flying goose" pattern in bands of red and dark cherry bark. Rim has intervals of red and dark cherry bark stitches. Lower portion of basket has double parallel rows of zig-zag in cat-tail grass (?). Rawhide front and back loops and handle.

Roughly rectangular basket with flaring sides, rounded corners, and an extended, rounded shoulder punctuated by a large rectangular opening. Simple coiled work (bifurcated stitches): parallel base construction. Fully imbricated; series of connecting triangles (three on top, two on bottom) separated vertically by a ladder-like strip all in red on bullrush. Base is partially beaded in bullrush and red cherry.

Beaded body, alternating every two rows between crabapple bark and cat-tail grass (?). Deer skin (?) handle tied near opening. Foot is beaded with crabapple. Lid, all but small center portion is imbricated in alternating cat-tail grass (?) and cherry bark.

Coiled basket (part a) with handles, lid (part b), and woven carrying strap (part c). Made of simple coiled work (with bifurcated stitches); parallel splint foundation; foot is beaded. Partially imbricated: diamond designs in red, black and light yellow, with smaller diamonds at each point of the larger diamond; pattern carries over onto lid. Foot is beaded in crabapple bark. Remaining handle (three coiled rows) is imbricated in alternating four stitches of red cherry and four of black. Carrying strap is diagonally plaited and braided cedar bark.
