Black and red cherry bark imbrication is used to create linear designs with deep ‘V’ shapes on all sides. Hide thong loops, tied through near the rim, hold a tumpline made of red and grey wool and braided cedar bark.

A small wooden stake made of cedar hangs from a brown string. Two brown pieces of fabric are tied around the wool. Small sections of wool have been coloured pinkish-red and black.

There are two loosely and one tightly tied sections of fabric. Small sections of the wool have been coloured pinkish-red and orange-red.

Open-weave basket with a tumpline fibre strap attached. The basket is rectangular, with a slightly rounded base, walls flaring gently outward toward a thick, wrapped rim. Short cords are attached at each corner to hold the tumpline strap, or handle, which is a braid of many thin cotton strands. At the centre of the wool strap, strips of cotton fabric in green, pink and other colours are tightly woven in, to create padding.

Abalone shell with exterior covered by basketry, conforming closely to its contours and secured over shell edges. Decorated with a dark blue rectangular ovoid at centre, two canoes and flying bird shapes in green or brown, and mouse-like animals in pinkish-red or brown arranged around central area. Around the edge are concentric stripes of yellow, red and brown.

Small oblong basket is tightly woven in an even weave, with a line of encircling images showing two large whales with a pair of pink birds to the side, and two boats with three sailors each on the opposite side. Dashes of pink and green circle the top of the basket and a line of green around the bottom. The lid (part b) shows two large birds to either side of the raised centre, surrounded by a pink and black line.

Bentwood box with faded painting. Interior sides and base blackened. Square-shaped with three kerfed edges. The seam and base attached with pegs. No lid.

Carved cedar bear figure in an upright seated position. Bear is mostly black with dark reddish-brown and natural wood details. The bear has a long snout with two large circular red nostrils, and lower teeth bared. There are two large squared-off ears on top of the head, and two large black brows. The left paw is open with pad facing front, while the right paw is closed. A small frog is carved, facing upward, on the stomach. Base is flat, raw wood.
