Tall thin bottle-shaped container tapering to a flared rim at the top. Dark wood base with ivory coloured bone at the neck and at the bottom knob. Woven top is secured with a brass chain.

The shaft widens towards the butt end, which tapers slightly at the end and inwards before it widens abruptly, the division between the two sections marked by three bands carved into the shaft. There is a brass (?) tack on the side of the shaft at the butt end.
Ornament composed of a band of metal bent into a c shape with a peak that runs along the length of the centre on the outside. The ornament is engraved with a geometric pattern of triangles composed of cross-hatching and a band of cross-hatching at each edge.
