A gold painted conical helmet with openwork floral and scroll designs, and "tiles" around the whole of hat with the openwork around the upper portion, and the "tiles" around the lower portion. There are three flaps, one at the back with two at either side. Circular mirror reflectors attached to designs and flaps: seven in a flower-like pattern on the back flap, three in a triangular-like pattern on each side flap, one on each of the four quadrants of the hat itself, with another at the bottom front.

Complementary panels, with dragon and flame motifs. Gold, silver, blue, and turquoise on red ground. Blue cotton border (2 3/4"deep) at top of hanging, doubled over bamboo piece for suspension. String loop attached at centre top. Yellow shading to pink fringe at bottom. Cotton calico lining, small white circles on red ground. Hanging panels pair.

Light green damask robe with wide sleeves, side slits and side opening. The damask is woven containing a floral and meander motif. The side opening has a short tie and brass frog closure. The collar border has embroidered peony, endless knot and coin motifs on a blue ground, edged with ecru fabric and gold braid. The inside lining is natural-coloured linen.

Dark blue robe with rounded neck, slender sleeves and side opening with brass frog closures. There are slits in the front and back. The inside is unlined.

Reversible transformation robe (fan gongzhuang) with a stand-up collar, wide sleeves, side slits and a centre opening with brass frog fasteners. On surface A, the upper front, back and sleeves have phoenix, bat, cash, narcissus and peony motifs in silver on a red ground. The sleeve border has chrysanthemum motif in silver on a black ground. Below the waist the robe divides into overlapping multicoloured strips with canopy, mountain, cloud, chrysanthemum and narcissus motifs in silver. There are green glass eyes and circular mirrors on the front, back and sleeves. On surface B, the front, back and sleeves have bird, chrysanthemum, leaf, tree and butterfly motifs in many colours on a tourquoise ground. The collar, sleeve and border bands have a chrysanthemum motif in red, pink, purple and yellow on a turquoise ground. There are circular mirrors and tin reflectors.

White robe with wide extended sleeves, side slits and side opening with ties. On the front and back is a square rank panel with peony, mountain and wave motifs in gold, pink, blue and green on black ground. The collar, sleeve, side and hem borders have bat, endless knot and coin motifs in gold, pink and orange on blue ground. There are tin reflectors and white fur on the front, back and sleeves. The belt carriers are red and stiffened with paper, wood and adhesive. The inside lining is natural-coloured linen.

Red robe with a round neck, tapered sleeves with hoof cuffs and a side opening with brass frog closures. There are slits in the centre front and back. The collar border has a gold peony motif on a blue ground, edged with gold braid and green trim. The cuffs have gold braid outside and black cotton lining inside. The robe lining is natural-coloured linen.

Orange armour robe with slender sleeves, epaulets and a side opening with brass frog fasteners. Below the waist, the armour divides into one front panel and three back panels. On the front are fu dog, butterfly, sun and peony motifs in gold, pink, red, purple, blue and green. The detachable collar band has butterfly and peony motifs in gold, green, purple and blue. The sleeves are have butterfly, bat, peony and swastika motifs in gold, pink, purple, green and blue. The back has butterfly, bat, fish, endless knot and peony motifs. On each of the large back panels there are five tassels in yellow, turquoise, pink, green and orange. On the front are four tassels in turquoise, green, light and dark pink. There are green glass eyes, tin reflectors and white fur on the front and back. There are also circular and hexagonal mirrors. The inside lining is white cotton.

Orange robe with slender sleeves, side slits and side opening with brass buttons. Fish, chrysanthemum and peony motifs on the front and back, in silver, pink, red, green and black on orange ground. Collar band has bat and peach motifs in silver and pink on green ground. Sleeve and border bands have endless knot and double cash motifs and longevity symbols in gold, red, pink and green on medium blue ground. The borders are stiffened with paper. There are mirrorsand green glass eyes on the front and back. The inside lining is yellow jute.

Red robe with long sleeves, side slits and side opening with a tie. On the lower front is a butterfly motif in green, yellow and black on a red ground. The collar and waist border has chrysanthemum and prunus motifs in blue and turquoise on a pink ground. The waist border has a fine blue and white fringe along the lower edge. The sleeve and bottom hem border has a diamond pattern in blue and white. There are tin reflectors on the back and front. The waistband is stiffened with paper and adhesive. The inside lining is natural-coloured cotton.
