Has wood sides, paper base, and is covered by blue paper. Slides out either end of exterior box. Top illustration of exterior box is female with red-trimmed gown and flowing black hair. She is seated on swing, each hand holding onto one swing rope. Image on diagonal and in profile, facing to right. Background: palm trees on right; green grass at base. At top, black lettering states: 'The Swing'. At top and base, black bands with red lettering state: 'La Hamaca', 'Made in Sweden'.

Male in red tunic, gold crown, and green waist sash, has arrow-filled quiver strapped to back and holds bow in hand on right. Light blue and orange background. Black lettering states: 'Santanu and Ganga Safety Match', 'Made in Sweden'.

OrnamentIe427 a-c

A light brown-coloured elongated oval wood piece carved as human head (part a). Hair protrudes from the top and extends as a point over the forehead. Facial features are in relief. One horizontal step is cut for the eyebrows. The eyelids surround slit-like eyes filled slightly with silver foil(?). The long nose is pierced with knotted raffia. The cheekbones are peaked, and deeply recessed below, are formed by elevated sections resembling a nose form which continues around to the back of the head. The lips are formed by adding two balsa(?) pieces to the mouth. Faint traces of iron oxide, and black, and white paint. Raffia binding passes through pierced holes at the top back of the head. Dark brown wrapped bamboo ring (part b) with fine wicker work is added out from the edge with the ring width tapering in at one point. (One knotted fragment (part c) is separate)

Dart QuiverC1726 a-pp

Fur quiver containing 41 darts. One of the darts has a moulded shaft with a point inserted into one of the blunt ends; three of the darts have balsa wood plugs on one end; one of the darts has a metal arrowhead at one end; the rest of the darts have at least one, if not two pointy ends; usually one end is pointier than the other.
