Tall, cylindrical basket with small area of bottom in checker work and twining; body is wrapped twined. Checker work and warp are cedar, outer running weft is grass and bottom and inner fixed weft are sedge. Six equally spaced bands of assorted colours; exterior dyes are faded; interior shows colours in red, brown, purple, yellow and green which have not faded.

Shadow PuppetEf220

A shadow puppet of leather cut out representing a male figure, nobly adorned. Aniline dyes have blocked the normal transparency. Dyes include black, red, purple, pink, green, and yellow. Three limbs move. The one moveable arm is jointed at the shoulder and elbow. Costume and jewelry include a series of punched out designs. Has pink skin. Wearing an elaborate yellow, red, and green headdress. Black overcoat has yellow, red, and green accents with a pink, and red belt. Red scarf is decorated with green dots, and edged with pink. Yellow, green, red, purple, and pink pants with black shoes.

Tight woven button with a grey circle at the centre with an alternating yellow and grey border (one row). This is contained within a red circular line. Two black thunderbirds are on each side of the central motif with five alternating yellow and orange triangles across the wingspan. Alternating blue and yellow triangles are on the outer border of the button and red on the edge. Basketry continues on the reverse with a blue-grey outer border for two rows.

All the grass is dyed for body and lid with blue background and bands of yellow and pink, and alternating yellow and red birds. Centre of lid is blue with yellow and pink rings and birds.

Designs on body of basket include thin bands of continuous rings of assorted colours and representations of people in canoes and ducks. The lid is decorated with ducks and rings of assorted colours. Exterior is faded; inside colours include; turquoise, brown, black, red, yellow and orange.

Bag486/9

Square wool bag with a long thin braided twine strap in brown, orange, red and pink. The bag has a central red, green, purple, pink, white and brown geometric design of zigzags and circles on a checkered ground. Bordering each side are red, orange, white, green and brown stripes of varying width. There is a slit opening and loose fabric on the bottom creating a threaded fringe. Both sides are identical. Hanging from the bottom are two twisted threaded strands with four small tassels.
