Red knitted head piece with four whole ermine skins and one piece of abalone shell. The ermine skins are sewn to the upper edge of the headdress. The rectangular piece of abalone is sewn to the front.
Pouch (part a) made of cloth is relatively square with a very long flap, has a long blue band running along one side, and has a long metal piece engraved with 'MAY 6 1851' attached by a skin strip. Forty nine (parts b-xx) wooden sticks, all of uniform size, some of which are inlaid with abalone shells of different designs: one stick (part b) has two circular abalone shell inlays near the centre; a second stick (part c) has a triangular abalone shell inlay near the centre; a third stick (part d) has one circular abalone shell inlay near the centre; a fourth stick (part e) has a trapezoid-shaped abalone shell inlay near one end; seventeen sticks (parts f-v) are plain; and twenty-eight sticks (parts w-xx) appear to have various decorative lines.
Beaded bag on the top and on the back of the flap with a fringe around the sides and curved bottom. Main beaded design consists of four green leaf-like shapes bordered by red on a white background bordered by diagonal light blue and mauve bands. A metal button is at the top middle. An abalone shell ? trinket is attached with a metal chain. Red ribbon at either top side.
Brown wood rattle consisting of two rounded pieces put together, each with a semi-cylindrical handle, creating a full rounded oval rattle. Handle is bound with metal wire. Rattle is in the form of a killer whale which curves all the way around with the tail meeting the small blow hole on top with the human figure attached to it. Black eyes in white oval in green oval with extended curving red line around and black and white u forms above. Black body is decorated with white in red circles that have abalone shell inlay at their centres. Side fins have a central abalone shell inlay surrounded by a green ovoid with a red split u at the end. Vertically black dashed tail is outlined by black and bordered by white. Human figure is red with a green area surrounded the black eyes. Cedar bark decorating the end of the tail and the human.
Red-brown wood dish in the shape of a bear. Has circular abalone shell inlaid eyes surrounded by a plain carved tapering oval, a snout, and an open mouth showing nine abalone shell inlaid teeth. Thirteen oval abalone shell inlaid pieces are along the rim. The fore legs are angled forward while the back legs are bent at the knees.
Mouse(?) mask, with small rounded ears, eyebrows with a peak at the top centre, a short snout, prominent incisors on the top and bottom of the mouth, and eyes inlaid with abalone shell. The mask is painted grey around the edges with dark grey stripes over green on the face and chin, black and red alternating stripes on the ears, black eyebrows, dark brown nostrils, red lips, and off-white teeth.
A model totem pole depicting (bottom to top): a beaver holding an extended tongue, a figure with a staff, the head of a fish, and a bird on top. The beaver has circular black eyes surrounded by a tapering red oval outlined by green with black brows above, red ears, curling red nostrils, an open mouth showing two red and green upper front buck teeth and a red tongue sticking out that its forepaws are holding onto at either side, and a frontward and upward curving red cross hatched tail. The figure with the staff has circular black eyes surrounded by a tapering red oval outlined by green with black brows above, red and green ears, red nostrils, and an open mouth in which, there is the top of the red and green banded staff that the figure is also holding in between its legs and forepaws. The head of the fish has similar facial features to that of the figure below it, except that it has plain pointed ears, and red outlined green split u side fins. The bird has similar eyes and brows to that of the other creatures, but also has a small beak and a black dotted body with side wings. The bird is turning its head to its left side. Eight oval abalone shell pieces are inlaid on the nailed base.
A flat long thin dark brown wood which has two concave curves linking together near the middle and has triangular points at each end. Has geometric linear pattern with curves and a human figure carved in the middle of the top end of one side. Decorated with four shell inlays, two on each side.
Oval shaped abalone shell that has a series of evenly spaced holes across the top of the concave surface. Holes are hollowed out barnacle shells. On the convex side, there is a large cluster of barnacle shells attached to the larger abalone shell to one side. The concave side has a pearly appearance while the convex side has a bumpy texture.
Stylized human figure flat brown wood club with a paddle-like shape. One side is carved with elaborate geometric patterns all over the body, two circular inlaid abalone shell eyes, an open oval mouth with the tongue hanging out to slightly to its right side, and the two hands clasped together at the front holding an abalone shell object. The other side is carved with a log-like house on the top with an abalone shell inlaid star and crescent moon above on either sides, a diamond-shaped inlaid abalone shell in the middle, and a face at the bottom with oval inlaid abalone shell eyes slanting diagonally downward toward the small nose, below which, there is an open oval mouth with the tongue hanging out slightly to its left side, underneath which, a paddle and a spear cross with a sitting figure to their left side. There is a flat handle.
