Frog Bowl3656/25

Wooden dish carved in the form of a frog. The frog's facial features are carved, and the nostrils have inlaid white glass beads; eyes are made of inlaid abalone pieces; the rim has inlaid glass beads and oval operculum shells. The four carved legs serve as the feet.

Large rectangular basketry mat with a plaid pattern done in dark brown; borders formed with wide pieces of cedar bark, central design woven with thinner pieces. Horizontal and vertical checkered bands decorate surface, creating solid rectangles where they connect. Vertical bands, grouped in twos, have angled lines throughout, that mirror that the other band; together they form chevron-like design. Angled lines alternate between pointing upward and downward.

Bracelet3656/15

Small, cuff-style silver bracelet with face-like design across exterior. Face consists of thick brows, eyes on either side of a wide nose, and an open, grinning mouth; made up of engraved and cross-hatched formline elements. Cross-hatched triangles on either side; ends of bracelet are rounded and are decorated with incised split-U's. The central area appears to have the letter G inside a design element.

Small bear pendant carved from tooth(?). The bear stands on all fours and is depicted with a pronounced nose and large open mouth; incisors at front of mouth connect top and bottom jaw. Figure has a long body with rounded belly and rump; short legs; and a small tail carved in between hind legs. Incised decorations throughout, facial features carved; carved lines coloured black. Decorations consist of irregularly-shaped mark down centre of back with nine small holes drilled into it; wavy lines extend out from back down sides of bear.

Skirt3587/10

Wrap-around skirt. Top portion is a solid dark blue. Lower portion has two thick bands of embroidered design on a black background, flanked by teal bands, with a large solid dark purple band through the middle. A single row of cowrie shells are sewn along the top band with strings of beads, evenly spaced, hanging down. Each string has many different sizes of reddish-brown cylindrical beads, a few small red glass beads, and each with a pearlescent seed at the end. From the centre of the row of cowrie shells, two bells are hung. Single-side embroidery.

Headdress3595/12

Antelope headdress. Wooden carving depicting an antelope-like animal with a large head, neck, horns, and small body and legs on a rectangular base. The body and legs are smooth, while the neck, head, and horns are decorated with incised lines and shapes. In the centre of the neck, triangles are bored through the wood. Curved shapes stick out from the back of the neck, resembling fur or a mane. The front of the neck has a u-shape bored through the wood. Two metal hooks are attached to the wood on the same side; one on the animal's ear and the other on the side of the animal's body. There are two square-shaped holes bored through the base.
