Item Search

The item search helps you look through the thousands of items on the RRN and find exactly what you’re after. We’ve split the search into two parts, Results, and Search Filters. You’re in the results section right now. You can still perform “Quick searches” from the menu bar, but if you’re new to the RRN, click the Search tab above and use the exploratory search.

Retablo Altar2862/30

Small retablo altar of St. Anthony. Altar has a door attached by metal pins, opening on the left where it can be secured by two pieces of braided fibre rope at the mid-point. The outside is painted with designs: curved orange lines and green dots on the long sides, and the outline of a cross on the front. A painted pediment sits atop the altar. The interior side of the door is painted with a flower and leaves. Inside the altar are several plaster figures. The central is St. Anthony holding a child and a branch, and beside him is a skull and cross bones. On the side wall is another figure of St Anthony, also holding a child and branch. The third figure, standing on the bottom of the altar, is a shepherdess with two small animals.
