Bilum sealed inside a plastic bag; bag is secured shut with a paper manufacturer's label stapled over the opening. Bilum is square-shaped with a wide strap. Made predominantly of naturally coloured fibres with five decorative bands across length. Bands are (from top to bottom): checkered pink, green "V" shapes, alternating pink and natural squares, alternating green and natural squares, and checkered pink. Blue card is inserted into bag, behind bilum, with image of person wearing a bag and one of the bilum itself; paragraph of text describe materials, and techniques on how it's made.
Sago hammer sealed inside a plastic bag; bag is secured shut with a paper manufacturer's label stapled over the opening. Hammer consists of a bamboo head with a wood handle, lashed together with rattan fibre. Top of wood handle is split in half and bamboo head is inserted into it. A twisted rattan cord is wrapped around the tip of the head and base of the handle, giving hammer a triangular shape. Long cylindrical beater extends from middle of slit at an angle; beater is undecorated and adhered to gong. Top and bottom band consists of repeating thin triangles, with curved sides; horizontal lines in between triangles. Centre band has alternating triangle pattern; negative space forms a wavy line. Bottom opening of pipe is coloured black; interior is undecorated.
