A multi-coloured fiesta shawl made with a base yellow-white cotton fibre. The shawl contains two borders of embroidered animals, men, and men on horseback wearing triangular hats with crosses. Below the animals in the border is a broad stripe of multi-coloured, machine-stitched embroidery patterns. Both ends of the shawl have been finished with multi-coloured acrylic pom-poms. The animal imagery was drawn on the cloth with red pen and then these drawings were stitched by hand and with a sewing machine. The imagery on one end, from left-to-right: bird, dog, man with gun, animal, animal with antlers, animal, bird with elaborate feathers, bird, horse, man on horse with hat. The imagery from the other end, from left-to-right: text "Fin", man with hat, animal, bird with elaborate feathers, bird, dog, animal with antlers, dog, horse, man on horse with hat.
This poncho consists of two large rectangles of machine-processed, black felted wool that have been sewn together with black thread along one edge, with a gap left for the neck. There is a multi-coloured, embroidered stripe that runs along the edge of the neck, shoulders, and bottom of the poncho. This embroidered stripe has been created with very even, tight stitching, which suggests that it was created with a sewing machine. The bottom edge displays an interlocking diamond pattern in white that is bordered with lines of plain stitching. This is followed by single, parallel lines of red stitching, green stitching, and yellow stitching. The neck opening and the shoulders are embroidered with a similar pattern that consists of plain yellow/green/red lines, followed by interlocking white diamonds, and completed with plain red/green/yellow lines.
Long tightly woven belt with braided finge at each end. Base colour is greyish white, bordered with horizontal stripes of green and purple, followed by a row of black and white offset triangles, then green, dark yellow and black stripes. Centre of belt has animal imagery woven in purple, interspersed with sections of abstract design; some of the animals appear to be deer, llamas, rabbits and birds. Centre of images has a thin green stripe running the full length of the belt.
Tungurahua-style Corpus Christi staff. Sword-like, light coloured wood stick, with undecorated handle and bright yellow, pink and purple stripes and splashes over the white paint the covers the rest of the surface, has three rectangular shaped birds bound to its pointed tip with metal wire. The triangular shaped shaft is notched along the length of the three edges.
Small drum with painted scenes of Corpus Christi celebrations. Light coloured skins are stretched around a circular-shaped twig frame, which are fitted over each end of the central wood piece, secured with another bent twig and bound with green plastic twine and leather fastenings that zigzag between the two. On one end is depicted a priest, an elaborately costumed dance figure and an official, on the other, a red spotted wolf and a yellow jaguar stand beside a rounded harp-like object.
