Photographic lantern slide made of two pieces of glass, one with the photo printed on it, the other clear, held together by a ‘frame’ of black paper tape. The black and white photo shows one side of the exterior of the British parliament buildings. A dark blue and gold border surrounds the image. Inscriptions read: "England. The Parliament at London", "Ferrier Pere Fils & Soulier /...Paris / stereoscopic and lantern slides".

Engraving tool. Half of awl-like steel graver has square cross-section, the other half is circular and comes to a point.

A young girl's dress (part a) with open work lace and pleated panels on the bodice. Yoke has lace panels, floral embroidery, and a lace collar. Sleeves are made of openwork lace and pleated panels with lace at the bottom and openwork lace epaulettes. Full skirt pleated with openwork lace insets and wide scalloped band of openwork lace at bottom. Seven buttons and loops on back opening. There are two silk bands (parts b, and c) with shirred centres and four silk covered balls at each end attached by silk wrapped cords. Two more silk bands (parts d, and e) have four silk covered balls at one end while the other ends are unfinished. There is also a gathered silk rosette (part f) that is open in the middle.

Obverse has RF around hole (Republique Francaise), liberty cap over hole; laurel wreath around; E M Lindauer below. Reverse has 10 cm.es left, right (10 centimes), motto 'Liberte. Egalitie. Wood mask. Wide incised stripes have been carved vertically over the lower half of the face and in half circle patterns across the forehead. These have been filled with white creating a striped pattern. Down the centre of forehead is a ridge that widens and becomes the nose. Eyes are thin slits cut through the wood, with large rounded eyelids above and below. Mouth is a protruding cube, with white colouring the centre. Plant fibre is knotted to the chin, and hangs down. There are drilled holes spaced along the edge of the upper portion of the mask. The back of mask is concave and undecorated, with a black string tied to two of the holes.

Indochinese coin. Round, smooth edge, round hole in centre; 4 characters in centre, surrounded by ring of dots, inscription outside; design and inscription. Obverse has seated figure, smaller figure at right; denomination 1 cent below hole; Republique Francaise around top, mintmark a and symbols at bottom. Reverse has Indochine Francaise.1903 around dotted circle. 4 Chinese characters inside. Obverse has director's/engraver's symbols at bottom-torch and cornucopia.
