Hand woven rug with two flower-like designs, surrounded by a geometric pattern. In the centre of each flower there are orange, purple and black squares. Around these squares are green petal-like shapes. There is a border with a similar geometric pattern surrounding the inner design. The border has a thick black line on either side of it. There is a white fringe running along each end of the rug.

A pair of dark green cloth ties. Each tie is in three sections, each section made up of several strings, all of which are tied together at one end. At the opposite end from the knot, each of the three groups of strings are brought together and then wrapped in colourful thread with a different coloured pattern for each group. At the end of each section, below the colourful thread, are many smaller strings, each with a bead on the end. Two of the groups have blue beads, while one has white beads.

Silver, cuff-style women's bracelet. There are seven triangular-shaped protrusions extending along the base of the bracelet, at the end of which there is a rounded tip. Between each protrusion is a rounded, linear shape with lines incised across the length. Just before the ends of the bracelet (at the opening) there is a carved pattern of two lines of circular shapes, followed by a smooth finish on the rounded ends.

Brown and white knit wool vest. The edges of the bottom of the vest, around the arm holes and around the neck opening, are knit using brown wool and a very subtle design. The vest is made of two pieces, a front piece and a back piece that have been stitched together. On the sides, the two pieces are stitched together with brown wool while the top of the vest is stitched together with white-brown wool. The design on the vest varied from the top to the bottom. On the top of the vest near the neck opening there is alternating brown and white brown unfinished lines. The design on the bottom half of the vest is alternating brown and white-brown patches.

Long red pants with overall repeating design. The design is in a Chinese style depicting trees, flowers, houses with slanted roofs, and people paddling in boats and walking near trees. The waist is created by folding over the excess material and stitching it closed, thus you are able to see the backside of the Chinese print. The waistline has been sewn in such a way that there is an opening in the centre. In this space, are several pink threads braided together with the ends loose. These threads hold the pants around the wearer’s waist. The pant cuffs have eight repeated lines of stitching.

Long sleeved, red tunic with overall repeating design. The design is in a Chinese style depicting trees, flowers, houses with slanted roofs, and people paddling in boats and walking near trees. The collar is a Chinese style collar. The tunic buttons half way down with three small, white buttons. There are cuffs at the end of both sleeves which are each held together by a single grey button. There is also a 23 cm slit on the bottom left and right sides. On the underside of one of the arms, the material is sewn so you are able to see the white edge of the material.

Long sleeved, light brown coat (part a), open at the front with belt (part b) for closure. There is red-brown embroidery on either side of the opening, the lapels, pockets, sleeves, and on the back and at the bottom of the jacket. Throughout the embroidered design there are blue, green and orange circles. The design of the embroidery is a repeating floral and hatch work pattern. The design found on the back side of the coat is the same pattern as that found in the centre, top of the jacket. The pattern on the sleeves and lower front lapels is reminiscent of Kashmiri style of “mango pip” paisley shapes. The belt is also light brown with red-brown embroidery in a repeating diamond pattern. In the centre of each diamond are alternating green, orange and blue circles. One end of the belt tapers to a point while the other end is squared off.

White, rectangular shawl with a embroidery and fringe at each end, also in white thread. The design is broken up into three sections which are separated by a looser stitch. The first two sections have the same design of flowers and diamonds and the third design, that which is closest to the centre of the shawl, is flowers and triangles. Worn with 2878/14.

Round, red, brimless cap embroidered with multicoloured geometric designs over the entire surface. The embroidery depicts several repeating flower designs known as “gumboori”. Around the top and bottom edges of the cap is a Central Asian double-scroll thunder pattern which is symbolic of fertility/fecundity. The inside of the cap is a grey-black. Around the bottom edge of the cap underneath the thunder pattern is band of light brown stitching. Worn with 2878/15.

Woman's necklace composed of 10 strands of red, round glass beads with a small repeating pattern of green and white round glass beads. All strands are knotted together at each end, and the ends are in turn knotted together to close the necklace.
