The item search helps you look through the thousands of items on the RRN and find exactly what you’re after. We’ve split the search into two parts, Results, and Search Filters. You’re in the results section right now. You can still perform “Quick searches” from the menu bar, but if you’re new to the RRN, click the Search tab above and use the exploratory search.

This belt has been designed with a geometric pattern. Dark yellow and green horizontal stripes run along the top and bottom, while the stripe in the centre is green and light pink. The ends of the belt are finished with a fringe, consisting of eight braids.
The outer edges of the belt consist of the light yellow-white base colour with a repeating black, eye-like pattern. This horizontal pattern is bordered with one thin red line along the outside and one thick stripe of red, dark yellow, and light brown-green on the inside. The central horizontal band of the belt consists of a dark orange zigzag pattern with a light brown-green horizontal stripe running through the middle. There is also a floral-like motif in the spaces between and under the dark orange zigzags. There is a fringe on one end that consists of seven braids, with a braided green and red rope attached to the end of the fringe, which does not appear to be part of the original belt. There is one partial braid on the other end of the belt, suggesting that both ends may have been finished with a fringe at one time.
The belt has a light yellow-white base, and this colour can be seen on the top and bottom edges. The top edge of the belt is red and the bottom edge is orange. A horizontal stripe of pink, dark red-purple, blue, light purple, blue, dark red-purple and pink cotton yarn runs down the middle of the belt, on top of the base layer. There are also small woven depictions of a human, a bird, a lizard, and a geometric pattern set within rectangles upon the base light yellow-white layer. There is a fringe on one end of the belt.
Dark red belt with green border along the top and bottom. The wool is tightly woven.
Choker-style necklace created with four strands of cotton fibre with red beads, metal beads, Ecuadorian coins, Columbian coins, a medal depicting the Virgin Mary, and a few beads in blue, yellow, purple, green and pink. There is a metal cross in the middle of the necklace, and two coloured stones (one red and one green) have been attached to it with metal prongs. The cotton fibre has been braided at the ends of the necklace to form a tie.
A silver ring with a plain band that divides at the front to create a "V" shape on either side. The divided band on the front supports a square, red piece of glass or gem on either side, and this piece of glass (or gem) is bordered with twelve small silver balls. There is faint evidence of several incised, decorative lines that were engraved near the "v" sections of the band. An Ecuadorian five-cent coin from 1937 was added to the ring, supported by three small metal rings over the gem. The text on the coin reads: "Republica Del Ecuador 1937, 5 Centavos".
The belt is divided into three horizontal, colour-based bands. The outer edges are dark red, the centre stripe is red and green, and the other bands are yellow and black. The design on the belt consists of bars alternating with geometric motifs. The colours are reversed on the back of the belt. There is a fringe on one end of the belt.
A woven rectangular bag with a strap. The design of the bag consists of a multi-coloured checkerboard pattern. Alternating rectangles have images of deer-like animals. The strap has been woven with two strips of alternating rectangles of dark green and light green.
Tightly woven hair tie with unequal length fringe at both ends. Yellow-white base colour with horizontal stripes running length of tie. Thin bordering stripes in dark blue and red, followed by a row of green dots interspersed with white, then three thin lines of yellow alternating with two rows in a pattern of red and blue short diagonal lines.
Two heavy, tightly woven rectangular pieces of fabric that have been sewn together length-wise, with a space left in the middle as a neck opening. Dark blue in colour with no collar, this poncho has been finished with a fringe along the bottom, created from the same blue wool as the rest of the garment.
