Long knife (part a), with a small knife (pisau raut; part b), and scabbard (part c). The knife blade is convex on one side and slightly concave on the other side, and is decorated with inlaid brass in a series of circles and vines. The blade itself gets gradually wider and then tapers in forming a point in line with the cutting edge. The grip is wrapped with finely woven fibre. The hilt of horn is elaborately carved, with red pigment in the lines, and has two drilled holes for an attachment. The whittling knife (part b) has a small curved blade of steel, with a brass cap marked with illegible text. The shaft is of a dark brown wood which transitions into alternating rings of horn and wood. The slightly curved hilt is elaborately carved. The scabbard is composed of a wood sheath for the sword, and an attached bark sheath for the knife. The wood sheath is composed of two pieces of wood, bound together by woven plant fibre and animal skin. The locket(?) is ornately carved. There is a long carrying strap of plaited plant fibre, and an ornament of shell and thin tassels with beads of pink, blue, green, red and yellow.
Shadow puppet of a 2 dimensional human-like figure riding a large mythical bird. The golden skinned figure has a black face with red markings, and long curling black hair. He wears an elaborate, colourful headdress and a robe around his shoulders that falls to his feet. Bracelets adorn wrists and ankles. In front of the figure sits a small green lizard. The bird Garuda has long blue feathers making up tail and wings, and small, delicate brown feathers on the chest. The eyes are red and staring, and a long snout displays many sharp white teeth. It stands on grey birdlike feet on floral grounding. The leather of the puppet is pierced with patterns of lines, holes and curlicues, which allow light to shine through. The whole is held up by a horn handle attached to the leather with fibre. The puppet is painted identically on both front and back.

Tall black boots are also carved from wood, as are the hands which are curved into fists with a hole bored through the centre. Legs are made from stuffed cotton, and the torso and arms of the puppet take the form of a cotton glove. The puppet’s robe has an upright collar, wide torso and sleeves, and a multi-paneled skirt hanging in front of the legs both front and back. The garment’s base colour is white, with heavy embroidery showing dragons, dragon scales, a butterfly at back, and decorative boarder motifs. The underside of the robe is lined with raw cotton.
