Plain unglazed red ceramic lid that tapers upwards to a mushroom-shaped knobbed handle. Lid has a flat rim around its base. Lid may have been dipped in a red clay slip.

The pot is tapered near the bottom, widens at the centre, and tapers back in to create a lipped rim. The lid (B611 b) fits inside the lipped rim of the pot, and tapers upwards to a mushroom-like knobbed handle.
