NecklaceH2.131 a

Part of a necklace consisting of grey seeds clumped together in an oval shape with a string of seeds extending out. The group of seeds all have either purple, red or gold sequins with a white bead on top and a metal wire loop keeping the layers together. Each seed has a wire loop bottom which fastens to either another loop or to a brass chain.

Long necklace composed of ten strands of black and white seeds arranged to make a triangular pattern of alternate colours. Attached are twenty-one fragments of dried, stuffed birds; only five birds have remainders of bodies. The feathers of the birds are black, green, blue, yellow and red.

Ankle OrnamentH2.117 a-b

Ankle ornaments (parts a-b) consisting of a lunette shaped piece of hide with brown hair, bordered with red and grey alternating seeds. Hanging from the bottom are strings of seeds (red and grey) with portions of a large brown seed. Tied to the hide is a large, central sunburst design of brown seeds, on either side is a small star shape made out of red and grey seeds with a central brown seed. There is thin fibre twine attached to either side.
