Vase with abstract designs around body. Vase is somewhat cylindrical, tapering slightly to a shoulder. The shoulder, body and lip all have two ribbed lines. The vase has a short neck and flared lip. The vase is light grey with tiny dark brown speckles. Flat unglazed bottom with incised artist's mark.

Wall Hanging3655/12

Rectangular wall hanging. The ground is divided into 9 sections with larger middle column and row. The centre row has light grey-beige centre with thin light grey-beige and green sides. The two end rows are green with light grey-beige and solid green sides. The sides have repeating light orange-pink triangles. Along each end is three diamonds, two small orange diamonds and a large orange-pink diamond at centre. Each end finished with a band of light orange, and then looped fringe with green on each side and grey-beige at centre. Tag sewn on back, 'SALISH WEAVING / HANDCRAFTED - FRASER VALLEY / BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA'.

Large rectangular basketry mat with a plaid pattern done in dark brown; borders formed with wide pieces of cedar bark, central design woven with thinner pieces. Horizontal and vertical checkered bands decorate surface, creating solid rectangles where they connect. Vertical bands, grouped in twos, have angled lines throughout, that mirror that the other band; together they form chevron-like design. Angled lines alternate between pointing upward and downward.

Bracelet3656/15

Small, cuff-style silver bracelet with face-like design across exterior. Face consists of thick brows, eyes on either side of a wide nose, and an open, grinning mouth; made up of engraved and cross-hatched formline elements. Cross-hatched triangles on either side; ends of bracelet are rounded and are decorated with incised split-U's. The central area appears to have the letter G inside a design element.

Pendant3656/12

Small bear pendant carved from tooth(?). The bear stands on all fours and is depicted with a pronounced nose and large open mouth; incisors at front of mouth connect top and bottom jaw. Figure has a long body with rounded belly and rump; short legs; and a small tail carved in between hind legs. Incised decorations throughout, facial features carved; carved lines coloured black. Decorations consist of irregularly-shaped mark down centre of back with nine small holes drilled into it; wavy lines extend out from back down sides of bear.

Basket3664/1 a-b

Small, round, lidded basket with frog designs. Basket has inset rim and fitted lid (part b). Basket is made of tightly woven grass with cedar bark rim and base; lid made solely of grass. Dyed grey-green lines border bottom edges of basket and the lid rim; faded frog designs on basket sides and lid surface. All frogs have their front legs stretched forward and back legs bent at their sides; two small natural spots in centre of faces, imitating eyes. Frogs on basket are facing top; frogs on lid facing outer edge. Lid has a central knob handle decorated with a grey-green checked design. All dyed designs are dark purple on the interior surfaces.
