The eyepieces are attached at the bridge of the nose by a thin strand of black-blue twisted fibre, which is tied through two metal loops. The strap is a long twisted cord, which is knotted through holes carved on the side of each eyepiece.

Beads strung in repeating designs. Three rows of beads are incorporated into design - bordered by black beads with white flower-like designs in between. The beads end on two orange flowers, and then have two rows of yellow and one row of red extend out to a large white bead. The straps are plaited pandanus fibre.
