The tip is coiled with red and yellow plant fibre, below which, there are the following: one large barb at the end; yellow plant fibre coiling; red and yellow plant fibre coiling; five sets of four small barbs; red and yellow plant fibre coiling. The point is decorated with a red and yellow grass sleeve with a horizontal curvi-linear pattern, a carved band that consists of two pairs of figures (each of which has eyes, and a double upward pointing nose with another figure below that has eyes, a bulbous nose, and a figure-eight-like mouth), and a fibre tuft. Below, there is another red and yellow grass sleeve that has a horizontal zig zag pattern. The dark brown wood shaft is plain and tapers at the end.

The point is decorated with a red and yellow grass sleeve with a horizontal zig zag pattern, a carved band that is emphasized with white and that consists of two figures (each of which has circular eyes and a bulbous nose), and a fibre tuft. Below, there is another red and yellow grass sleeve with a yellow diagonal line pattern on a red background. Bright red and yellow plant fibre coiling are at either ends of the grass sleeve. The dark brown wood shaft is plain and tapers at the end.

Dance WandC377

Long rectangular light brown wood carving of a lizard with a notched tooth edge frame at either side and a handle at one end. Very bright blue along the sides with a black body and tail speckled with white and red, red limbs, and white feet. Three white-grey feather tassels attached on outer protrusions at each corner ankle. End below lizard's head is the handle and the bottom of the wand.

Figure representing a full length nude male with a hat and a beard, Figure is broken near middle into two pieces, parts a-b. The hat is cylindrical with a wide brim. High forehead creating protruding notched eyebrows. A rounded triangular nose. Circular eyes. Grooved slightly upturned oval mouth outlined. Notched effect around the sides of the face, and the chin. From the square shoulders, the thin arms are straight at the sides until they are bent at the elbows so that the hands are touching each other at the front. Has genatalia, rounded buttocks, legs with crease-pointed knees, and stubby feet. Has a metal base.

Doll3610/11

Plastic doll standing with hands at sides. The doll has dark brown skin with curly synthetic black hair and brown eyes that open and close. The doll has a headband with three rows of small grey shells and an open weave head covering the hair. They carry a loosely woven bilum bag with pieces of wood(?) inserted horizontally throughout that hangs from a strap strung over the head. On the arms are dark brown woven arms bands and around the waist a thin woven band. The doll has a bark apron, covered by strings of small grey seeds that are twisted from the neck around the shoulders and then back around the waist multiple times. On the calves are mismatched woven leg bands.

Plastic doll standing with hands at sides. The doll has dark brown skin with synthetic black hair and brown eyes that open and close; it has a headband with three rows of small grey shells and a headdress with three tiered layers of plant fibre - in red, purple and natural (front to back, small to large). There are lengths of bark woven into the hair. The doll has a loosely woven cloak with horizontal pieces of wood(?) inserted throughout, with a bark cloth cloak layered overtop; also dark brown woven arm and leg bands, a chest band, and a skirt of twisted fibre over a red loin cloth. The doll wears strings of small grey seeds twisted from the neck around the shoulders and then back around the waist.
