Model rondavel style house, made of clay and sticks. Cone-on-cylinder hut is round, with a slightly overhanging cone-shaped roof. Walls are thick, and reinforced with thin wood sticks which hold the roof onto the walls, and emerge slightly at top. A door and two small widows are cut into the clay, and a plaque has been attached by sticks above the door. At back is a second door with a prominent frame, filled by a cube of clay. The house and roof surfaces have scratched writing in English, with text such as “good clay soil”, “beautiful”, and “strong one hut”.
Strainer woven from plant fibre with an unfinished opening at the top and tapering towards the base where the weaving has been gathered and tied with plant fibre twine.
Toy motorcycle made of metal wire which coils around for some features. Front steering handles rotate the front wheel. Both wheels are made of wrapped black electrician's tape.
Red bottle-cap 'basket' with handles. Container or basket made of red 'Lion Lager" bottle caps. Each bottle cap has four holes drilled into its side where the wires weave through to make a vertical and horizontal attachment. The basket has two handles made of twisted silver wire.
Red bottle-cap figure on a vending bicycle. The head is made of two Coca-Cola bottle caps, one for the front and the other for the back. A Coca-Cola bottle cap is used for a hat. Most of the figure is made of Coca-Cola bottle caps, but others include "Fanta" orange flavoured drink, Red "Lion Lager", "Creme Soda", "Castle Lager", "Cherry Plum", and "Golden Pilsener". The bicycle is made of metal wire, with the two small front wheels and the larger back wheel wrapped around with black electrician's tape. Original price tag attached.
Trapezoid-shaped wooden box with a hole on the top face near the widest end, and a series of 17 long metal prongs with rounded tips are elevated and secured above the box by wood and metal bars at the narrower end. Two smaller holes on the underside near the centre. The wood is stained, and five of the metal prongs are coated with red paint on the top surface. Hugh Tracey manufacturer label on bottom.
Spoon with ovoid-shaped bowl that has a pointed tip, and a long cylindrical handle with a giraffe finial on the end. Slightly more than half of the bowl edge has a dark brown, burnt band, and there is a burnt geometric design on the reverse of the bowl. The head of the giraffe is also burnt to a dark brown finish, and the giraffe's spots have been carved into the wood.
Prussian Potzdam musket made from heavily finished dark wood stock with a brass trigger guard and barrel fitting. Muzzle loading musket. 'N1856 4874' stamped into barrel. Makers' stamp 'Saarn' and small crown crest stamped into side plate. 'C5289' stamped into brass fitting. '1844' stamped on butt.
Ornament composed of a band of metal bent into a rough oval shape with a slight gap between the ends. The ornament has a slight ridge along the centre of the length and is engraved with cross-hatched triangles along the edges.
Spoon with pointed, shallow bowl and a cylindrical handle with a four-legged animal that has a long tail at the end of the handle. The underside of the bowl has been burnt and carved to form a geometric design, and the animal figure has been carved and burnt with stripes that run vertically around the figure's body and tail.
