Shield with coiled pieces of cane-like grass bound with horizontal lashings. Both ends come to a point, and one end is slightly narrower than the other. There are geometric designs in black on the front and back of the shield. There is a handle attached to the reverse side of the shield.

Twenty three teeth are woven tightly together with fibre at one end to join the handle in an hour-glass-like shape. Handle is decorated with geometric designs of yellow and dark fibres. The upper portion of the handle simply consists of the teeth extensions. The lower portion of the handle has a design that consists of a diamond pattern.

Two pieces of translucent white shell with the exterior of the shell removed. While both pieces are of a fairly rounded circular shape, the first piece (part a) has more of a vortex with its structure, and the second piece (part b) has more of a radial type of structure.

The shaft is carved with dark vertically linear designs on a natural background above the cane joints. The base of the shaft, near the pointed end, has fragments of a woven sleeve. The point is dark wood elaborately carved and multi-barbed. There is a sleeve of bird skin and feathers wrapped around the middle of the point dividing the elaborately carved portion of the point from the multi-barbed tip.
